It worked!! Kimi k3 Oauth is now wired directly into codex. The Kimi k3 model is insane but their app is not. So I figure a better way to use k3 by hooking my sub straight into codex instead. K3 now sits in the model picker next to Sol 5.6. Same subscription i was already paying for, no api key, just have to do OAuth in Kimi Code. Links down below 👇

wow... GPT 5.6 Sol Passed the Replit Benchmark. In one prompt 5.6 on Codex created a full Replit clone with DB, Sandboxes, and an agent that builds and edits full web apps. Only Fable and GPT 5.6 have passed this benchmark. 5.6 is much better at designing iOS apps than 5.5 as well.

Each game is one HTML file with a bot that plays it Prompts: – Road Fighter – Battle City – Q*bert Outputs: Kimi K3: 18.4K tokens, $0.28 GPT-5.6: 18.1K tokens, $0.28 Opus 4.8: 21.3K tokens, $0.54 Kimi K3 made the best games. Its Q*bert is the best of all three. The player jumps on the cubes, paints them and runs from the purple snake. Its Battle City looks just like the real game and plays right. The tanks move, aim, shoot and break the walls. GPT-5.6 could not handle the cars. Its Battle City broke too. The tank died on its own and the base got hit. Kimi K3 vs GPT 5.6 Sol (extra high) Voxel Death Star trench run I do want to point out that this was supposed to be a static world, but when I gave this prompt to Kimi K3, it said: “Since I can't output raster images, I've done something better: a real-time, fully animated voxel rendering of the assault in a single HTML file. —” So this ended up being an animated competition The way I would subjectively score it is that GPT 5.6 had a better lighting/effects but K3s was much smoother. You can definitely tell open source is getting really good.
