I’ve always heard this and feel that there should be a distinction of lean body mass. If someone is carrying 50lbs of body fat it doesn’t make sense to add that 50 grams of protein

I’m a 57kg female and I eat more protein than your linebacker.

Can you include the required 'fat' that goes with that? Protein is just the building blocks Fat is the energy source

I really wish people would stop telling others what they "should and shouldn't do". 🤣

Dangit. I'm 6'3" 220. I gotta up my game. Not getting near the protein I need, apparently. And I'm a majority carnivore eater.

Im not interested in being so dialed in personally. Eating healthy foods is enough for me.

This is the rule of thumb, and I did this in my bulking phase, but for Lean mass and feeling good I stick to 120-140g per day at 86kg. That’s plenty to maintain.

Is to much protein bad? I’m currently on the carnivore diet. Sometimes I eat 8 beef Patties a day.

You forgot to mention that protein si found in all other foods you eat in a smaller amount and therefore it’s not just protein products that should be counted.

Would be more helpful to see examples using realistic food items-do not know many women who eat 35g of Parmesan cheese daily. Or raw milk.

Proteins are myths

The wild thing is it seems impossible to eat your body weight in protein if you are eating conventional food - Grains, processed foods, etc. but when you lay out 200g of protein on the table it doesn’t even look like that much food.

@JoeUfc76633 I don’t think it matters because mineral deficiency is the biggest issue everyone has.

Excellent, can you do a "What to eat in a day" one too? this covers the protein part, but what about the other nutrients, calories and macros?

So one pound of beef gets me close, but I need more eggs, butter and cheese. Butter is carnivore candy anyway
