I made a learning site for grades 1–7 with books for math, English, and science. My kids loved it. I used GPT-6 Astra with the Hyper3D Rodin MCP to create the 3D shelf souvenirs, candles, lamps, and pins. What stood out was the speed and quality. Rodin gave me...

Here's how I made the decorations. I connected Hyper3D Rodin MCP to Codex using their setup prompt, then asked GPT-6 Astra for a fantasy candelabra and lantern that matched the site. Here's the MCP tool: GPT-6 called Rodin to generate detailed, high-quality 3D models, then handled the code to integrate them into the website. Having generation and integration in the same workflow made the process faster and easier. You can see the models go from the Rodin preview into the working site. Generation took about 10 minutes and used 1 credit total. Roughly $1 for both assets in my run.

The 3D shelf souvenirs caught my eye. Were Rodin’s meshes web-ready, or did you still need topology, material, or file-size cleanup before the grades 1–7 site stayed smooth?

pretty much all codex work from a single prompt. it's able to generate the image and use image to 3d.

The detail on that metalwork is incredible — your kids have the coolest learning shelf ever!

making it feel like a place to explore is lovely. did your kids gravitate toward their favourite subjects, or did the setting get them opening books they'd normally skip?

math and english is more fun this way, esp bc it's more interactive and words are spoken

Meng always delivers. Also, which image model made the reference shots before image to 3D? Did u need a specific angle or a clean background so Rodin could give usable meshes?

Usually, Astra can be asked to generate image 2.5 with transparent png to model against using Rodin.

Such a flexible concept that can be applied to many book experiences

I'd love a version where each finished book adds a souvenir to that shelf. You could see what you've read just by looking around the room.

yeah i was thinking maybe adding a placeholder cutout outlines if the book wasn't completed. rn, it's showing all the souvenirs.

The shelf objects as spatial anchors in a learning environment is an interesting design bet for this age range. Are they doing ongoing engagement work for the kids, or is the effect mostly on first impression?

decorations are souvenirs from each grade or book. same for the pins which can be collected during reading

What's the "engine" this is in? Just three.js?

GPT-6 made GTA 6 beach house using MCP tools! Running Astra only through Blender MCP didn’t work for me, since it was mainly using primitive shapes to build the assets. Now, with Atlas workflows and Tripo, that changed! Initially, I thought Tripo P2 would be the way to go: low-poly results straight into Blender. I tried it, but I didn’t get the results I wanted. Don’t get me wrong, P2 is great and a big improvement over P1, I just wanted more detail for this project. So I ended up using Tripo 3.1. First, I needed a good starting point. I gave Astra some concept art and YouTube links, and it generated great reference images to work with. With Atlas workflows, I used those references to generate images for all the individual parts. Using Atlas MCP, I exported them and automatically renamed everything based on the prompts. The next step was feeding the images into Atlas Batch Composer so it could run all the 3D generations in one go. I asked Astra to optimize the generated assets to either 5K or 1K triangles, depending on their form and size. After a few tests, Astra made the process faster and faster. I gave it all 70 high-poly assets and let it run. Astra then took care of the whole build. It imported the optimized assets into Blender and used the reference images to start recreating the house. I only had to give it directional feedback twice and manually rescale a few things. There were still a lot of parts, though. Each beam was a separate object, and I knew that wasn’t ideal if I wanted to export the house to UEFN or Unreal Engine. So I asked Astra to export only the unique assets. Then, using UEFN MCP, it rebuilt everything 1:1 while reusing modular parts like beams and windows. I really enjoyed watching it place all the pieces in UEFN, almost like watching a timelapse of the house being built!
