I see way too many people do the hip thrust exercise wrong. STOP EGO LIFTING AND SLOW DOWN!!! Take a moment to set up, keep your chin tucked, SLOW DOWN, squeeze at the top, keep your back strong (don’t arch), push through your heels and feel every part of... show more

@velvet_lol preach. I have noticed major improvements since decreasing weight and focusing on time under tension and mind muscle connection. Excellent post.

Awesome!

@velvet_lol Hi my girlfriend please be modest online ok ily delete this tho ..

@velvet_lol Do you have any idea what this song is saying?

No

@velvet_lol It’s saying that the singer is putting a chocolate flavor condom in his penis, and that he will make a young girl sit on it. It’s only the first part of the music the rest is even worse.

😭💀

@velvet_lol Wow

@velvet_lol Thanks expert

@velvet_lol Totally agree, form is everything. It's better to lift lighter with good technique than risk injury.

@velvet_lol Love this - for advanced or lower weight reps, do it on one leg - it will literally shake you to your core

@velvet_lol I just learned about those half reps reps. 😉

@velvet_lol Not gonna lie, the bar hurts my hips/tummy a lot. I haven’t done them in a while. I might try to bring them back. You making me jelly with legs like that.

Use a pad / mat

@velvet_lol That looks tough!

@velvet_lol I agree a big squeeze and hold at the top of the movement will give so much more time under tension.

@velvet_lol I wonder if people that get this wrong have trouble in other areas of life 👀

@velvet_lol Great form

@velvet_lol *sharts pants

@velvet_lol Wow That's hard work

@velvet_lol Thanks for the advices 🤩 i was worried about my form and excecution

@velvet_lol Men neglect the hip thrust. It’s good for your spinal health

@velvet_lol I’ve been thinking about starting doing these. Where do you position your back on the bench, like horizontally above your shoulders similar to barbell squats?

@velvet_lol How do you get the bar onto your lap?

@velvet_lol Wooo 😅 🔥

@velvet_lol If you know anything about lifting they were probably doing KAS hip thrusts. KAS targets the glutes more than the hamstrings and quads/glutes in more traditional hip thrusts.

@velvet_lol dog shit advice super slower negatives are counter productive compared to just a normal 1-2s ur increasing metablic stress while decreasing mechanical tension, you lose tension on transition between reps, you lose elastic energy and total session volume is lower
