How I’d get good FAST as a baseball player: First get in the gym and commit. 6 days a week: upper / lower / arms, repeat. 1 full rest day. Do this for 6 straight months minimum. Build strength, durability, and discipline. Second the baseball work has to be intentional. Hit 5–6x/week with a plan. Not just swinging… purposeful reps. Work with a coach who gives you structure, routine, and adjustments. Then put in the REAL work on your own. Extra swings. Extra reps. Extra time. This part matters: You are NOT going to develop at practice alone. High school, travel, even college practice isn’t enough. The jump happens in the hours nobody sees. Third fuel your body like an athlete. Eat enough protein to recover and build strength. Hydrate consistently. Add electrolytes. Recovery = performance. If your body breaks down, so does your progress. Fourth train your mind daily. Read 1 chapter a day: •Heads Up Baseball 2.0 •The Alchemist •The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success •The Four Agreements •It’s All in Your Head You need mental toughness to handle failure, pressure, and long stretches with no visible results. That’s part of it. Now tie it all together: Training + reps + nutrition + mindset. Do ALL of it consistently. Then do it for 3–5 years. No shortcuts. No skipping steps. Keep your head down. it’s been a while since I’ve updated you on my workouts, but here we are and we’re back with a leg workout! I’m only weight training 4 days a week for about 45 min each sesh because you don’t need more than this to get results! my students also follow this method and get results faster than training 5-6 days per week🙌🏼 I do 3 leg sessions per week + 1 upper body. I usually only do between 4-5 movements each leg day since I’m already doing a good amount of volume doing legs so frequently! Here’s my workout: -leg press (quad focused) 4 sets by 12 reps (feet closer together towards the center of the platform help you target your quads better) -quad extension 3 sets by 12 reps -seated hamstring curl 3 sets by 12 reps -glute med cable kickback 3 sets by 12 reps (i like to have the cable notch at mid shin so im really able to focus on the upper glute. with my working foot on the angle and toes pointed outward, it actually increases the abduction component) -standing calf raises 3 sets by 12 reps (i have never truthfully trained calves consistently ever i always start and then stop because it feels pointless but it’s 2026 and we aren’t neglecting muscle groups so here’s my accountability lol) 💙I’m wearing the new Buffbunny Collection halo long sleeve ‘Rio blue’ in size medium / code Miranda will save you 10% 💙always fueling my workouts with my @c4energy creatine bc otherwise i won’t remember to drink it 🙈 #legworkout #fitness #legday #gluteworkout #women f

Here’s my controversial opinion why you technically don’t need reps near failure for driving serious muscle hypertrophy This training style truly isn’t for everyone. It’s for the few that are obsessed with getting as big as humanly possible especially for those who have made the decision to stay natty. I have other traditional bodybuilding programs, let me know in the comments if you would like a structured program that uses a more foundational approach I’ll send you a free week. The low rep stuff is what I use, and I like to talk about it, but it’s not even close to the only program or training method I use for others. The people who say it takes too long have never tried this style of training The people who say it takes too long are wrongfully assuming you’re lifting weight that is so heavy you need 3-5 minutes between sets to recover. There are many ways to recruit high threshold motor units, and for hypertrophy doing 7-9 reps to build up fatigue so that the last 2-3 reps your body is forced to recruit these motor units might be the absolute worst way to recruit them The easiest way is to add more weight, then add the effort into the concentric phase of the reps. This way you don’t need reps near failure, and by not needing to train so close to failure, you’re able to repeat sets quicker. Some sets as soon as 30 seconds, some later or last top sets up to 2-3 minutes Regardless, when you use this method you are trading junk volume for meaningful reps. You’re also managing your time in the gym around this concept to cut out all the other exercises you normally have to do This is why people finish these sessions in 75 min or so. Auditioning is a completely different performance than how you’d perform it when you get the job. Most actors don’t realize that. What do I mean? In an audition, I only have 1 set up, 1 frame from the chest up. On set you’ll have multiple set ups and multiple camera lens sizes. So for example if I have to do a very explosive emotional scene for an audition I’m beholden to that one set up which is the chest up how casting likes it. BUT if I’m too big and too emotional for that frame size it might come off as melodramatic/Over-acting or I’m forcing it. So I have to do a little less. Now on set during the master I can be as big and as ferocious as I want and then dial it down as the camera moves in closer. The same goes if it has to be small and intimate scene, I might have to project a bit more to convey that emotion in an audition where if it was on set that close up sees everything and I can be as small an intimate as I want. So during these auditions you’re predominantly handcuffed to the size of the frame that casting wants. I like to be subtle in auditions and sometimes that can look like you’re doing absolutely nothing and its not as engaging for the audition process. (You’re trying to get a job) So I amp it up 10-20%. Again, where as on set I can be as small and subtle as I want and when they move in on your close up it sees the minutia of every detail that your face and eyes make. (Also in an audition you’re acting with a friend or a family member who might not be an actor. No professional makeup or hair, bad lighting, dog barking, cat meowing, fedex guy ringing your bell,etc etc) So to recap… AUDITIONING SUCKS!🤦🏻‍♂️ #kidvicious🔪
