I'm making an open-ended coding game/toy about using code to generate 3D objects. Does this explain it?

This is like the greatest introduction tool to shader writing

shhhh! don't tell people it's basically shader coding in disguise... it will scare them off :P

I'm already nicknaming this game "Where's My Voxel?" 😊

What's the largest volume you envision this game to support? I have a voxel engine where I support "shaders" like these to define shapes in a volume, it'll be interesting to see what people come up with. MagicaVoxel also basically has this exact concept.

currently the max size is +-16 in each direction, so 33x33x33, pretty small.

I like it, good luck on development!

That's such a cute idea for a coding game, wishlisted!

THAT IS A FREAKING GAMEE!! This is insane

Is there a fixed camera / screenshot feature so we can make voxel stop motion?

there is animation support in the game itself. you can set the frame count and fps, and then your code returns different things based on a "t" variable! I already have basic GIF export working as well.

This like shader writing, the game :D

But positive AND negative numbers? Why not 0,0,0 at the corner and numbers go up?

it makes it much, much easier to make symmetrical objects. it's easy to adjust the coordinates in the program if you want to consider the origin in the corner.

This is so cool!

You have a twin brother called "Blender Bob" just fyi.
