A Historic Day for West Bengal’s Infrastructure & Growth. Today, I had a highly productive and landmark meeting with the Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways; Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji, right here at Nabanna. Our discussions centered entirely on accelerating the development of Railway Infrastructure in West Bengal. I am absolutely delighted to share that our joint efforts have yielded immediate results, with a flurry of long-awaited and crucial Railway Projects receiving an official GREEN SIGNAL 🟢 which will significantly boost sub-urban and main-line connectivity across North and South Bengal, speed up pending track related works. The ongoing construction of the 100.5km Obelle–Ilaro–Papalanto–Sagamu Road in Ogun State is progressing steadily. This vital infrastructure project is being executed by the Dangote Group under the Federal Government’s Tax Credit Scheme, and our administration played a significant role in ensuring that this project became a reality for the overall benefit of the good people of Ogun State and other road users. About ten months ago, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and I paid an inspection visit to this strategic corridor, which holds immense significance for Ogun State and Nigeria at large. When completed, it will provide a seamless alternative route for commuters from Sango, Iyana Ipaja, and Itori, eliminating the need to use the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway or pass through Abeokuta to access the Sagamu Interchange.

IPERU–ILISHAN ROAD ENTERS FINAL ASPHALTING STAGE The reconstruction and dualisation of the Iperu–Ilishan Road has reached a major milestone, with binder and wearing course asphalt now being laid across sections of the corridor, marking the project’s entry into its final stage. This 5.3-kilometre strategic road, which links Iperu to Ilishan and serves as a critical connection to the Gateway International Airport and the Sagamu–Benin Expressway, has progressed beyond earthworks, extensive drainage construction, and stone-base layers. With active asphalt works ongoing, the road is visibly taking its final shape. We note the steady pace of work delivered so far, including completed drainage systems and stabilised base courses that provide a strong foundation for long-term durability. Upon completion, this road will significantly improve mobility, enhance safety, reduce travel time, and stimulate commercial activities for communities along the corridor and airport-bound commuters. With the completion of this road and the Sagamu–Sapade Road, the Gateway International Airport will become one of the most easily accessible airports in Nigeria, seamlessly connected from the North, South, East, and West. This integrated road network is central to our plan to position Ogun State as a major logistics, aviation, and investment hub. Media reports highlight that more than 40 medical colleges across the country may have obtained recognition through bribery, falsified records, and manipulated inspections. 👉 Investigators believe that bribes ranging from 3-5 crores were taken from private institutions across the country to guarantee NMC recognition, regardless of medical infrastructure. 👉 The story begins inside the Union Health Ministry itself, where officials access and share sensitive files related to medical college approval. These documents, containing internal notings, inspection schedules, and access identity, are secretly photographed and transmitted via mobile devices to private agents working for medical colleges across the country, all in exchange for cash. Developing climate-resilient road infrastructure in the geologically fragile Himalayan region remains a significant challenge due to complex terrain, unstable slopes and frequent natural disasters such as landslides, cloudbursts and earthquakes. Sustained efforts are being undertaken to address these concerns through adoption of global best practices and advanced technologies. ▪️Key initiatives include signing of MoUs with THDCIL for specialized landslide treatment in Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh, DGRE for geo-hazard mitigation, and GSI for geological investigations and data sharing for tunnel and corridor projects. Collaboration with NIRM focuses on geotechnical investigation scrutiny, design validation, tunnel safety audits, instrumentation monitoring and capacity building. ▪️A policy decision has been taken to prioritize slope cutting and stabilization prior to commencement of road works in hilly terrain, ensuring long-term safety and durability. Additionally, IIT Roorkee is being supported for development of guidelines on hillslope instability using real-time monitoring systems. NLC starts work on Dedicated Freight Corridor & Multimodal Logistics Park, Pipri 🇵🇰 Due to absence of rail-based freight transportation system at Karachi Port, congestion of containers has become a routine problem resulting in slow cargo movement & negative impact on economic activities. Heavy road traffic has also led to increased environmental pollution & damage to road infrastructure. The construction of Dedicated Freight Corridor and Multimodal Logistics Park at Pipri offers a long-term solution to these challenges. Ground breaking ceremony of Dedicated Freight Corridor was held with Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi and Group Chairman and CEO DP World, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem attending as chief guests. NLC will complete the project in multiple phases with USD 400 million Foreign Direct Investment. The first phase is scheduled for completion within four months. The project includes rehabilitation of a 52-kilometer railway corridor from Karachi Port to Pipri Marshalling Yard along with development of a modern Multimodal Logistics Park. It is aligned with the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Pakistan Railways’ ML-1 Project. Upon completion, import containers will be transported directly by rail from Karachi Port to Pipri and onward to destinations across Pakistan, China, Central Asia and other regional countries. The project is expected to significantly reduce container congestion at Karachi Port, streamline cargo movement, accelerate economic activity and bring marked improvements in traffic management and environmental conditions.

🚇 Major Milestone for Metro Line 2B: 252 MT Span Lifted Over Central Railway Tracks in Just Two Hours Between 1 AM and 3 AM on June 14, MMRDA successfully completed the launch of the first composite steel span over the Central Railway corridor between Kurla and Vidyavihar stations on the CSMT–Panvel section. The 54.25-metre-long span, comprising four composite steel girders weighing a massive 252 metric tonnes, was erected within a tight two-hour railway block through meticulous planning and close coordination with Central Railway authorities. The operation involved tandem lifting using two 500 MT hydraulic cranes, backed by a standby crane, and was executed under stringent safety and quality protocols by a dedicated team of 30 engineers and technical staff, along with 100 skilled and unskilled personnel. All statutory approvals and block permissions were secured in advance. Additionally, launched the book "Mahadcha Muktisangram", celebrating its rich legacy. Being in Mahad is truly special, as this land echoes the legacy of the Chavdar Tale Satyagraha, led by MahaManav BharatRatna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar—a pivotal moment in the fight for social equality. The town also serves as a gateway to Raigad Fort, the capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, standing as a proud reminder of Maratha valour and Maharashtra’s rich heritage. This Bhoomipujan marks a significant step toward strengthening judicial infrastructure in Mahad. Today, we’re announcing that we’ve raised $115 million in funding, including a $100M Series A led by Kleiner Perkins. America has lost the ability to build, and we’re here to restore it. My co-founder, Noah McGuinness, and I left our jobs at SpaceX , where we worked on programs including Starship, Starshield, and Starlink, to build a company that will solve construction’s greatest challenges. Infrastructure is the foundation of civilization, and construction is the precursor to innovation. If America wants to build a brighter future for the next generation, we have to make it faster, cheaper, and safer to build. That’s where TerraFirma comes in. We’re a new type of company, a robotic construction company that builds the full technology stack needed to deliver an order-of-magnitude improvement in one of the world’s oldest, largest, most important, but least efficient industries. We are building technology that expands what’s possible in construction on Earth, and then we'll use that same technology to build megastructures and colonies on the Moon and Mars. We’ve made tremendous progress over the past year, growing the company more than 10x in the last 12 months. We are performing projects across the world.
