It's really cool but what are the practical use cases for having a small environment running in the browser (and storing some disk/state changes kindly). Could it be used for serious dev? Or just saves installing 2/3 standard tools on a new/temp workstation?

It was deposited on July 8 in a decommissioned coal mine beneath the permafrost. The storage project was designed with a thousand-year preservation goal. What went into the mine was Bitcoin’s software source code, not everyone’s bitcoin, and not their private keys. Bitcoin joined a physical archive that also included Linux and Python.
