BREAKING: We just made our largest ever plastic catch. Interceptor 006 in the Rio Las Vacas, Guatemala, stopped 272 truckloads of trash - equal to 1.4 million kg (3.1 million lbs) - from flowing into the Caribbean Sea. All in a single evening.

I love what you're doing. But it also keeps saddening me to see how people destroy nature, just because they don't want to clean up or recycle their own mess.

My favorite project by far... I will be donating to you...its a shame its we the people that will do it...major governments can easily fund this instead of more bombs

Is it possible to have a automatic plastic recycling plant setup there. So that all the plastic is directly diverted to this plant and everything gets recycled then and there. This will save lot of fuel, transportation time, labour, etc.

It has been astounding to see the volume of plastic garbage floating through that river. It makes me question the general quality of conditions in Guatemala that the people there are forced to live with. It also brings to question the quality and safety of produce grown there.
