Is #bitcoin spam an ideological issue? "This is a practical matter... If blockspace is mostly being used up by junk we need to do something about it." - Mechanic #BIP-110

@GrassFedBitcoin "There will always be evil, so we shouldn't fight it" "Besides, how exactly does one define evil anway"

Why is everyone talking about Bitcoin? Governments, Companies, your neighbors, your kids. What is it? We can help you Understand Bitcoin in a easy, convenient, thorough 1-on-1 overview.

@GrassFedBitcoin Simplest way to accomplish this is by just using bitcoin. Higher fees are the most effective filters to combat ‘spam’.

@maxkeiser @GrassFedBitcoin The battle against onchain spam was fought between 2015 to 2017. Fortunately, the anti spam side won. Spammers now need to pay up to get in the Blockchain

@GrassFedBitcoin we already have a block size limits and fees done lets move on

@GrassFedBitcoin If the space is being paid for, how is it spam?

@GrassFedBitcoin Bitcoin Mechanic says it perfectly.

@GrassFedBitcoin How do we classify spam? I don't know if a 64-byte hash added to an OP_RETURN is used for a critical Lightning Network purpose or if it's used for a Pepe NFT Jpeg. It's just a bunch of numbers. I wish we could classify, but I don't think realistically we can.

@GrassFedBitcoin Are we here for a global monetary revolution or do we need a global data storage?

@GrassFedBitcoin Is block space mostly being used by junk? Citation? Last I checked the mempool was NOT under a spam attack. If the fee market takes care of the problem over time, as we can see, why do we "need to do something"? His words are a nothing burger.

@GrassFedBitcoin If it’s on the block it was paid for and has more value despite your opinion. If you value your transaction you would pay for it.
