Another manufactured narrative busted. The claim that GoI called the E20 programme an “ongoing experiment” in the Supreme Court is completely misleading. As Sushant Sinha explains clearly, the word “experiment” was not about the E20 policy. It referred only to the operational process of adjusting ethanol supply allocations as per market conditions. E20 is not a trial. It is a firm national policy. The SC matter was about streamlining and consolidating petitions so ethanol allocation across India remains smooth and uninterrupted. Facts matter.
