It’s been raining non stop but so far situation has remained under control. All underpasses and main roads are clear and open for traffic. There is also water coming into the Malir Naddi from Baluchistan side and as a precautionary measure we have closed the EBM & Korangi Causeways in consultation with traffic police. Our local representatives & municipal staff as well as civil administration, PDMA, 1122, traffic police and KMC city wardens are constantly on ground to attend to any situation

Despite incessant rain, KMC roads are clear and traffic is moving. Would urge people not to move unnecessarily especially request bike users to be extremely careful. People going towards Malir & Airport should preferably use Shahrah e Bhutto. Even the side of Shah Faisal Colony is clear and open for traffic

So far 318 people have been rescued & moved to safe place from around the arwas close to Lyari Naddi and teams are still present on ground. All major arteries of the city as well as underpasses are clear and open for traffic. It’s still drizzling. Stay safe everyone. I’m also heading home. I would like to appreciate each and everyone who remained present on ground and worked tirelessly during this challenging time. You are all heroes 👏
