I’ve experienced something interesting tonight. FSD failed to merge into the correct lane, which was blocked by traffic delineators. Once it realized the mistake, it reversed and re-entered the property, and used the second exit to resume the planned route.

FSD V14.3.7 backs up to make room for a merging bus. This is the first time I’ve ever had FSD make a move like this to allow someone to merge into traffic. Do you think this was the right move by FSD?

Absolute SAVAGERY by mad max on V14.3.3 😂 We’re driving along the highway, and encounter traffic. We are supposed to be on the roadway I’m pointing at with an arrow a few seconds into the video. FSD knows from mapping that the Rt 1 exit allows an opportunity to re-connect with I-76 before it branches off into an exit lane, and to avoid a section of traffic, FSD decides to yeet the exit, blow by about 1/2 mile of the backup before muscling its way back onto 76. I had to mute the video because I was laughing like a psycho the entire time. So good. Mad max will get you where you’re goin man

Red steering wheel incident. This is by far the worst thing I have had occur on FSD 14.2.2.4. I tried it three times and every time it failed. It was supposed to take a left and the left blinker was on, but it looks like it started to take a right and then it stopped, displayed the red starting wheel and told me to take over while I was pulled out into the lane.

FSD Mad Max was apparently upset about this guy moving into its lane that it felt the need to cut him off (we didn’t need to exit for several miles so there was no need to get all the way into the right lane after getting into the left)

FSD 14.3.5 is now 0/2 on taking my exit for work. I took a video this time. The navigation shows that it should take the exit, and it will move over one or two lanes, but then it doesn't even attempt to put the blinker on and get into the exit lane.

A recurring frustration with FSD 14.3.3 It still doesn’t remember previous behavior on roads I drive every day. In both of these clips, the car unnecessarily jumps into the left lane (Hurry mode) despite clear reasons not to: • Video 1: The lane is ending and blocked by construction barrels. • Video 2: The left lane is becoming a left-turn only. In both cases, it had to force its way back into the right lane with traffic all around. Definitely not ideal.

FSD V14.3.3 ignores multiple signs and merge arrows as lane ends, shifts over at last possible second. I expect it to miss the overhead signs obviously, but I swear earlier versions of V14 reacted to merge arrow paint or merging lane signs. I’ve noticed on 14.3 that these things don’t seem to happen as much anymore. Did it never pay attention to this stuff and it was just a coincidence? Or has FSD gotten worse at this on 14.3?

This vehicle decided it was tired of traffic and moved into the oncoming lane to pass. The strategy failed and ended up causing a traffic jam on the other side too. Watch as the traffic Karen has to back up to let them through. Why do people constantly do this? I hope this person learned a valuable lesson.

He’s sitting in the correct lane in traffic when a driver in the turning lane tries to skip the entire line and merge ahead. He goes on a rant hoping no one lets her in. This driver sucks.

FSD v14.1 yields to an ambulance using the opposite lane to bypass traffic After hearing and seeing the ambulance behind me, FSD began creeping into the adjacent right lane, but another vehicle blocked me from moving farther. FSD then paused, allowing the ambulance to pass, before continuing. I’m not sure a human driver could’ve handled this much differently — there was nowhere to go short of flooring it to get in front of the car to my right, which in my view would have felt reckless in case the ambulance needed to get into that gap. Simply creeping a bit to the right, pausing and waiting, knowing the ambulance had already committed to driving against the flow of traffic, seems like the safest move. Either way, this is a significant improvement over prior versions! Your thoughts?

So cool how FSD v14 can find its way out of a parking garage. It picks the quickest lane to exit, moves close to the ticket booth and then merges onto the street.
