My take on Wealthion on the EXPLODING US NATIONAL DEBT: "22.2% of American taxes are siphoned off to pay interest on the government’s debt. They don't go to income transfer payments, gov't services, or subsidies." INTEREST ON DEBT = PAYING TAXES AND RECEIVING NOTHING.

The debt passed $39 trillion today. Paying a trillion dollars of interest annually on this debt causes hardship for tax-payers and robs us of resources that could otherwise be used for infrastructure or national defense. And ultimately, this debt will enslave our grandchildren.

The Prime Minister is selling off national infrastructure to pay for his Sovereign Debt Fund. Instead of quickly approving infrastructure projects to help Canadians, this Liberal government is taking a page out of their own failed Infrastructure bank to drive up deficits to feed more bureaucracy. This is just a repackaging of debt and assets as "wealth" to hide a decade of Liberal economic mismanagement.

The debt question Kenyans must ask is simple: Why does the debt keep growing every year despite billions already being paid? How do we borrow, repay, borrow again, and still sink deeper into debt? This is why the conversation on odious debt can no longer be avoided. One dangerous issue that must be addressed is the amendment to the Public Finance Management Act, which allowed the National Treasury to borrow outside the Consolidated Fund framework. Public borrowing must remain transparent, accountable, and subject to full constitutional oversight. Kenyans deserve to know: Who borrowed? How much? For what purpose? Who benefited? And why are ordinary citizens carrying the burden while public services continue to collapse? A country cannot survive permanently on secrecy, debt, and taxation without accountability. #odiousdebt #DeniBandia

Canada’s Liberal government is planning to borrow so much money they will be forced to spend $80 BILLION each year just paying interest on the debt. That’s taxpayer money that can’t go toward health care or education or infrastructure - that is instead being wasted. That's more debt and more money squandered than even Justin Trudeau was planning to spend! It’s time to bring fiscal responsibility and fiscal sanity back to Canada ASAP! 🇨🇦

American says her and her fiancé both work, have no kids, don’t go on vacation or do any spending and are still living paycheck to paycheck. They can’t save any money and are going into credit card debt “I feel like I'm drowning — I just need somebody else to tell me that they're living paycheck to paycheck and putting themselves into credit card debt out of necessity, not because of fun. How long can we go on spending beyond our means before it all crashes? It is irresponsible to raise the debt limit without taking any measures to take us off of this path, this road to hell, paved with great intentions, but with no fiscal responsibility or accountability.

Continuing to spend massively more than we take in each year—adding on to our public debt—cannot go on forever. The United States is on the path to financial catastrophe unless we put partisanship aside and produce constructive and honest solutions to stabilize our debt.

We’re now paying over $1 trillion a year just to service the debt, more than we spend on national defense. Deficits are still running at $1.8–2 trillion annually, so both the principal and the interest tab keep exploding. And CBO projects interest costs will roughly double this decade. We’re going to be paying for it with higher taxes on working families and their kids, printing money that drives up the cost of living, or eventually slashing future benefits. And neither party wants to stop it.
