This guy gave the Aaj Tak reporter a brilliant response. He pointed out that Delhi University has around 3 lakh students, but hostels are available for only about 4,000. Why do students end up living in unauthorized buildings? Because there aren’t enough hostels. Why isn’t the BJP govt building more hostels? Ask the government that question—the reporter had no answer.

There's no issue with peaceful protests or democratic rallies. Everyone has freedom of speech. But forcing university students out of their hostels against their will cannot be tolerated.

Today, I visit University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC) and I saw first hand the deplorable state of the female hostels. The students are really suffering. Their hostels are constantly being robbed at night because of bad windows. Their toilets are a mess and environment bad.

Delhi University students are paying the price for years of inaction, with most students unable to access university accommodation and many forced to depend on costly private PGs. While BJP and ABVP claim to speak for students, their record tells a different story: no new hostels, rising living costs and no real solution to students’ concerns. Students need representation that fights for their rights, not politics that ignores their struggles. It’s time for change. Vote NSUI. Vote Ballot No. 6, 4, 1, 2.
