Latest peek at MoonBase One, playable in the browser with Three.js. I started this project with Opus 5, and now Grok 4.6 has been improving visuals for 2 days using Matt Shumer's gauntlet loop. Hope this inspires others to shoot for the stars with what you can build with...

Looks great. any info you can share like locally 3d asset creation is much appreciated. I'm no 3d artist or game designer and I'm trying to create a game in @threejs as well when I can find time, but visuals are my problem as you can see, looking for ways to make them better and if possible locally so when I opensource it people can do them too. Already open sourced my findings but I can't create anything like yours. The best asset I can create is this junk lol

@threejs @mattshumer_ Love the idea here, it has the look of a really high quality Planetbase. Gameplay-wise its a bit overwhelming. Sadly it ended with me discovering photo mode but not being able to exit it. But wow, the feeling of scale here is really something...

@threejs @mattshumer_ Thank you! A lot of focus has gone in to visuals so far. Next is really evolving the controls, story, performance.

Hi Ryan, We’re looking for talented authors to host their project on our new platform and generate revenue with it. Would you be interested in having your project hosted on Unispawn? Matt Shumer’s original Claude of Duty is playable as of yesterday and want to see if more creators can join!

@threejs @mattshumer_ Are you using any skills, or because of the gauntlet loop just base grok build with no skills?

@threejs @mattshumer_ No extra skills, was a fresh Grok Build cli install. I did tell it to save as a skill.

@threejs @mattshumer_ Whilst neat you reaaaaaally need to have the AI churn on performance and render artifacts. Just tell fable to go fix for a few hours.

@threejs @mattshumer_ Insanely impressive project, well done Ryan... Only suggestion is to improve fps, it barely gets 5 fps in my chrome.. maybe puttint it in NWjs wrapper as exe would help as a standalone app.. thats what i do for my games to speed up fps..

@threejs @mattshumer_ 2 models taking turns on one moon base is a much better demo than another benchmark chart. Even the cars driving through people feel on brand.

@threejs @mattshumer_ The crazy part is the iteration loop. One model builds the foundation, another improves it, and AI keeps refining the visuals based on feedback. That workflow is going to get seriously powerful as the models improve. We’re only seeing the beginning. 👀

@threejs @mattshumer_ How do you structure your gauntlets? Do you break the entire game up into small segments/layers then run a gauntlet on each?

@threejs @mattshumer_ Someone in the replies got stuck in photo mode with no way out. Worth an Esc-closes-everything rule before more visuals.

@threejs @mattshumer_ I havent had much luck with grok 4.6 gauntlet game loops. Opus 5 seems more capable in this regard. Its a lot more obvious if you task them with modeling in blender as well. I am very excited for Grok 4.7 though.
