Lucy Powell’s comments on the rape gangs were appalling—but they reflect a much deeper rot within the Labour Party. It is a party that prioritises loyalty over service and reputation over accountability. Time and again, they’ve chosen to smear critics as racists rather than confront the stomach-turning scandal of...

The real question is: how many still believe this was just incompetence… and not deliberate suppression to protect reputations, careers, and narratives? Deception at this scale doesn’t happen by accident.

No they were not - a Reform member was weaponinsing the subject and she challenged him not the issue. Maybe you need to focus on reality instead of desperate agenda based game playing It appears your short term leadership is nearly over - polling 17% today 1% ahead of Lib Dems - soon be 4th Party

It's about shutting down the issue. As a survivor i have had much worse than what Lucy Powell said but it shows the mindset. I think this needs to go legal, that's the only way forward that I can see at this point.

Too little too late. The Tories are finished. New polling puts you on 17% 😬

Good. Hold the line and ensure that those who allowed this to happen are held to account. This is bigger than the Post Office scandal but this government just wants it to go away.

Thank you for saying what too many won’t. This isn’t about politics—it’s about justice, truth, and standing with the victims who were silenced for far too long. Labour’s cowardice has made it worse. The British public will never let it go until justice is served.

🚨BOMBSHELL EXPOSÉ: TREVOR PHILLIPS RIPS LID OFF LABOUR'S GROOMING GANGS COVER-UP 💣 Keir Starmer and the Labour Party Sabotaging National Inquiry to Hide Racial Targeting of White Girls and Decades of Failure in Their Own Councils In a devastating intervention, Sir Trevor Phillips has blown the whistle on what he calls a deliberate political cover-up at the heart of Britain's grooming gangs scandal. The former Equality and Human Rights Commission chair accuses Labour of sabotaging the national inquiry because of its explosive racial implications — and because so much of the abuse took place under Labour-controlled councils that did nothing to stop it. “The government clearly never wanted these two things to be put together,” Phillips declared. He points to Labour's efforts to downplay “the intersection of race and sexual predation,” insisting the perpetrators deliberately targeted victims because they were white and outside the groomers' community. “These children are chosen because of their race. They are chosen because they are white and because they’re outside the community of the groomers.” Phillips highlights the chilling uniqueness of these crimes: unlike typical child abuse kept hidden, grooming gangs operate in plain sight — with perpetrators knowing they are shielded. “The other thing is these people know that they are protected. They’re protected politically, they’re protected by social workers, they’re protected by local police. That is the scandal here.” He pulls no punches on why a full reckoning has been avoided: “Much of this took place in local Labour councils and the authorities who were supposed to be watching over this, stopping it, monitoring it and all the rest of it were controlled by those councils and they did nothing.” This is not just institutional failure — it's a politically motivated shield thrown over horrific, racially aggravated sexual exploitation that went on for years under Labour's watch. Right now, they deserve justice — and Britain deserves the full, fearless national inquiry that has been denied for far too long.

No Apology For Forming Labour Party – NLC President The President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero, has said that they owe no one any apology for forming the Labour Party. In an interview with Channels Television on Tuesday night, Ajaero stated that the party was created to enable regular Nigerians to run for office and win. He also noted that even Peter Obi, the party's standard bearer, is not a member of any labour organisation. Ajaero said in part, “We don’t have any apology for forming the Labour Party. Historically, the Labour Party is organised and formed by trade unions all over the world and I have said elsewhere that from early 1918 down the line to 1945, Michael Imodu came up with the Labour Party. In 1964, Imodu and others formed a party. “Within that time when Adams Oshiomhole was contesting the governorship, the Labour Party aligned with those that formed the APC, AD, the ACN then, to sponsor Adams for him to have a joint ticket and it wasn’t a crime if the Labour Party decides to form an alliance with the other political parties. “Thereafter, we changed to and decided to have our own political party and today we’re not in alliance with any political party. And we don’t have an apology for forming a political party that will be beneficial to all the ordinary Nigerians …all the members of the Labour Party are not workers. “They’re not members of trade unions. People in the National Assembly and even the Presidency are not members of trade unions. The presidential candidate of the Labour Party is not in any way related to any Labour union. “Any Nigerian that wants to belong to the Labour Party is free. The reason we formed the Labour Party is that Nigerian workers under the minimum wage cannot buy form and contest elections under any of the political parties be it APC or PDP. “That’s why we say we must have our own political party where a messenger or clerk can contest elections and win. Even Okada riders are in the National Assembly today through the Labour Party. If anybody is having any doubt about it, the aim of forming the LP has been achieved.” --- Follow us for more breaking news and videos
