Planned High Speed Rail in India 👇

California has the nation’s highest housing costs. Some blame a housing shortage; others, government policies. We sit down with experts to explore what’s driving costs and discuss the state-mandated Housing Development initiative and why some cities push back.

lol whose gonna tell them that same corridor was proposed by Lalu Yadav in 2009-2010 rail budget UPA back then just proposed this corridor, NDA came in power and made efforts to make it reality.

In bihario ne railway ki g@@nd maar rakhi hai ab in bhikhario ko bullet train chaiye 😂😂🤣

It seems you are misinterpreting. Biharis don't have any issue with the Bullet Train. We just want sufficient tracks, trains, seats to accommodate our people that’s all. Right now, Bihar is among the states with the lowest number of track length and trains per 1 lakh population

Track density should be factor not track length, Bihar has 2nd most dense Railway network after West Bengal, almost every major city of Bihar has railway connectivity which is improving day by day, there are enough trains as well, but the main issue lies in the interstate migration which is quite high in UP/Bihar etc hence trains are always crowded, only solution to this problem will be stopping the migration by creating jobs locally

Gujarat people will pay.. Bihar people will not pay..

Let Mumbai-Ahmedabad have their bullet train, bro. Meanwhile, we've got a metro zone in Chennai where a 2.5 km stretch has been under construction for nearly 20 years. Just saying....

A bit of History

He is questioning the disparity and discrimination by @RailMinIndia. On one hand, you're providing bullet trains based on demand, but on the other hand, you're not even providing normal passenger trains in areas where the demand is also high. Isn’t that discrimination?

Indian Railways is taking 20 years for just one high-speed corridor. Why not build multiple corridors in parallel — like Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Chandigarh, Mumbai-Pune, Bengaluru-Chennai? Faster progress, better impact.
