A lot of options has been shared in relations to whether 11v11 is more difficult to play than 5v5 and for most people who understand or played on a professional level will tell you 5v5 will expose all your weaknesses and that doesn't matter if you're a goal keeper or striker. Victor Boniface and many other professional shared their takes on this matter but we still have people with strong heads saying 11aside is harder than 5aside. The same Boniface advice you players who are looking to go pro that during your trial period you will play more 5v5 than 11aside game because that's where you can be exposed. The games are very different and the rules are as well but the major things about this games are the intensity to defend and attack the same time and even a goal keeper feel it the most depending on the space you're playing in. 5v5 will text your shooting, dribbling, decision making, defence ability, creativity, link up plays, and the mentality to win a game. There are variations to this games and you can play it based on what the coach wants to achieve with the training. But the classic 5v5 to test players conditions with the intensity and workload required for the meters covered, accelerations, decelerations, sprints, and heart rates and the lactic acid levels of the players are no jokes for any professional.

The key to installing a PBO is to keep the main thing the main thing. Explain to your players the most important principles of play and continuously emphasize them throughout the season. These principles will become a constraint or a guide that will get their attention and intentions. Players will self-organize with tasks (constraints) and if you allow them to complete these tasks, you will see them playing great team offense. You don’t need to explain every last detail, just get them started with the basics of shot selection, spacing, ball movement, creating advantages with matchups or 2-man game, and off-ball picking. Using constraints like an 8-9 second shot clock on a side will get them to flip the field. Or, if you’re not picking off-ball it’s a turnover. Or if you hang out on the crease it’s a turnover. These are simple ways to get your team to play incredible and unpredictable team offense. Obviously, installing a PBO in one minute isn’t going to be a time constraint for your average coach, but the point of this reel is you would be amazed at how well your team will play when you take off the reigns and focus on the principles. Throughout the season there will be glaring strengths and weaknesses that you will have to address, but again, use constraints to do the teaching and keep the focus on the Principles.

Today, we launched Quo (formerly OpenPhone) Tasks. Every phone system helps you talk to customers. Only Quo helps you follow through. When you're talking to customers, the goal is to get things done. Until now, there were really only 2 ways to track that work (and neither was great): 1. Hacking it in Quo 2. 3rd-party task management tools Either way, work falls through the cracks. Quo Tasks is the first time we're connecting the conversations you have with your customers to the work those conversations create. Now on any message, call, or transcript in Quo, you can create a task, assign it to yourself or a teammate, and set a due date. Every inbox also has a dedicated tasks tab right alongside chats and calls so your whole team can see everything that needs to be followed up on. I've been using this for work and personal, too. Recently, I was texting a friend about getting together and created a task right from the conversation. Not the most business-critical use case, but it showed me how easy it is to forget to follow up on things. If you're a Quo customer, let me know the first task you create. 🙂

Playing time is the ultimate motivator Every program has their non negotiables, and within the program each player has a certain role that they need to crush. A lot of players and parents struggle with the idea that you don’t get unlimited mistakes and chances. At some point, if you aren’t producing, you won’t be able to play. This will happen to 95% of players.. whether it’s for a couple possessions, for a couple games, or for a season. The real tell is the players ability to learn from it and grow!

It happens to everyone I talk to as well. We have a solution for this now. The team Augment Code released a "Task List" feature for their coding assistant that solves this problem. Augment Code is partnering with me on this post. In case you haven't used them before: • Augment Code is a fully-fledged coding assistant • Their specialty are large projects • Fastest coding indexing I've seen • Has a free forever community edition Now, you can ask their coding agent to generate a Task List before doing anything. This will give you a plan you can review, edit, and augment if you need to. You can export this plan, load it on a different session, or even share it across projects. It makes a huge difference: The task list constrains the agent so you won't get any "unintended" changes anymore. It also puts you in control of everything the agent does. Task Master CLI will makes Cursor 10x better at building projects. I created a full video demo of how it works. For those that don't want to watch. Here's what happens: 1️⃣ Install npm i task-master-ai CLI 2️⃣ Give it a description of your project. It will generate a PRD 3️⃣ It will then convert the PRD into tasks (10 detailed .txt files and a .json that acts as a local db to task track status) 4️⃣ Ask it to do a task. It will do the task and mark it off as done. Each task can also be broken down into small tasks using "expand" command. Following these steps it will build out an entire project. This is the future of dev and how tools like Manus work. But you can run it locally and follow step by step to make sure you're happy with what's happening. Seems a fitting to be posting about Task Master the day before Passover starts. Good job by Eyal Toledano who built this project.
