For game generation, I would score continuity across edits, not only the first result. Change one instruction and test whether character identity, spatial layout, collision logic, and save state survive. In vision systems, failures often appear after the second transformation.

Kimi K3 just beat Fable 5 on the BridgeBench Horror House game test. I did not expect this at all. Kimi K3 is better than Fable 5 at game development and UI design. The two things Fable 5 was supposed to own. The 5x price increase suddenly makes sense.

I tested Fable 5.1 vs Kimi K3 I gave 3 same prompts to both, here are the results IMO, both created beautiful scenes, but the color picking problem is still there in Fable 5.1. Kimi K3 is better at this. Fable: ~$12/scene | Kimi: <$5/scene More tests coming up

Kimi K3 vs Fable 5. Same prompt and reference. 3D globe dashboard. Kimi left, Fable right. To me, Kimi's UI fidelity is a touch better. The globe looks better too, with richer textures and smoother motion. This task: ~$3 with Kimi, ~$15 with Fable. I'd pick Kimi k3 for frontend work.

We tested Kimi K3 against Claude Fable 5 on 3D modeling and animation Asked both to recreate the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars in 1) pixel style 2) original style. Both are on Max effort. Kimi K3 took a bit longer than Fable 5 to generate, but came in ~1/3 cheaper on the 1st test, and less than half the cost on the 2nd. Interestingly, Kimi K3 handled the details at the same level as Fable 5 on the original creation, yet it wasn't at Fable's level for the pixel style. I WAS WRONG, FABLE-5.1 MIGHT ACTUALLY BE THE BEST MODEL TO EXIST ON THIS PLANET FOR FRONTEND TOO 😭 Tried recreating the exact same game with Fable-5.1 and Kimi K3. Fable-5.1 outclassed Kimi K3 on UI and gameplay. Smoother mechanics, better interactions, and noticeably more polished overall. Kimi was still competitive, especially with way fewer jitters during gameplay. Cost: - Kimi K3: ~$11 - Fable-5.1: ~$18 That’s ~60% more cost for Fable, but the quality difference was actually noticeable. Kimi is still ridiculously competitive for the price.

Kimi K3 was already in internal evaluation by April/May, before Fable 5 had been available long enough to be a plausibly distilled. I’ll wait for the evidence from the USG if they’ll publish it. However Kimi already outperformed Fable on BrowserComp, so if K3.1 beats Fable 5 on coding benchmarks, are people going to claim it distilled Fable 6? Obviously it’s not only distillation here. Saying “mythos” would have made a lot more sense but fable ?
