Most people try to fix their posture by “manually” correcting it. Squeezing their glutes. Tucking their hips. But this doesn’t change the reason why you have that posture in the first place. Here’s a better solution 👇

Great video but important info to have would be: 1. How often and for how long should I do this? 2. How long until I should expect to see/feel results to know I am doing it right and not making it worse?

I’m a physical therapist and I see patients like this often. One of the most effective exercises I’ve found is the dead bug. By extending your legs while keeping your lower back from lifting off the floor, you learn how to control your pelvis and properly use your core. I think starting with around 3 sets of 10 reps is a good place to begin.

If you have anterior pelvic tilt don't try to tick your hips you say. Then you say use your lower back.. ok genius, how is somebody going to "tuck their hips" without using their lower back. "Tuck your hips" is just colloquial4move ur pelvis less anterior. Uses the lower back.

I have this problem. My sports med doc told me to squeeze my core. The problem is that I can’t live my life in a constant ab flex.

That's good and fine. But if you want to check out a chiropractor or a physiotherapist, you might want to read this. Have a short read. Cheers 🥂 🙂

Tengo hiperlorodosis en compensación de una cifosis de scheuermann. Si apoyo la espalda baja e isquiones no hay manera de q la columna dorsal y menos aún cervical llegue a la pared y viseversa.

Can you help with posterior tilt? My chiropractor refers to it as a tucked tail position.

Good info, but what do you think about a different way of breathing that will change your posture straight away?😇
