Why did Amazeorg remove this 5-year-old video from their YouTube channel today when Bill Ackman brought attention to it on X? Is it be because, as Bill said, it acts as a "transgender recruitment cartoon" for kids feeling awkward about their bodies during puberty? Or is it because the scientific claims made about the effects of puberty blockers being "temporary" and reversible were never evidence based? I think we all deserve an explanation. TRANSCRIPT: A person who is transgender is someone whose internal sense of their gender—being a boy, girl, or something else—doesn't match their physical body. People who feel this way sometimes feel anxious when they begin to reach puberty and their body starts to change in ways that don't match their internal sense of their gender. These feelings are totally normal. If you feel you want more time to explore how you feel about your gender before your body starts to change, it's important to talk with a parent, counselor, therapist, or doctor about the feelings you have regarding your gender. After some discussion and counseling, you may be referred to an endocrinologist. Endocrinologists specialize in hormones, and they're the most likely to prescribe puberty blockers for someone who wants them. Puberty blockers are medications that will stop your body from changing. They're usually given as an injection or an implant. They block the production of hormones to stop or delay the physical changes of puberty. The effects of the medication are only temporary, so if a person stops using puberty blockers, the physical changes of puberty will begin again. Whether you identify as male, female, genderqueer, or something else, you're perfectly normal. And there are lots of ways to manage puberty so that it can be a fun, exciting time rather than a scary or stressful one.

Tremendous turnout today in Ottawa. Thank you to Maxime Bernier for speaking so boldly against the abuse of child transition. Canada’s MPs unanimously passed a bill which made it a crime of ‘conversion therapy’ to object to your own child transitioning, but the real conversion therapy is telling children that they were born in the wrong body. There is no such thing as a transgender child. They’re called girls and boys and they are perfect just as they are! No drugs or scalpels needed!

When the Government says it is banning something to ‘protect’ people, more often than not it is not about safety but about clamping down on free speech. FSU External Affairs Officer Connie Shaw was on Talk to discuss the Government’s new draft Bill to ban conversion practices and the chilling effect it could have on free speech — particularly on conversations between parents and gender-confused children. You can easily imagine a situation in which a vulnerable child, having been radicalised into believing their parents are evil for not affirming their gender identity, reports them to the police. Even the threat of being reported could deter parents from having well-intentioned conversations with their children for fear of prosecution. That's where the impetus for this ban has come from — well-funded pro-trans lobby groups like Stonewall and Mermaids. So any parent who 'misgenders' their confused adolescent daughter, or tries to talk them out of embarking on an irreversible medical pathway, could face criminal charges for trying to 'convert' them. And we're not talking about out a slap on the wrist. In the state of Victoria, Australia, which brought in a conversion therapy ban in 2021, the maximum penalty for trying to 'convert' someone is 10 years in prison. It won't just be parents and medical professionals who will risk imprisonment for trying to talk gender-confused children out of mutilating themselves. Any religious leader who shares the teachings of their faith on issues like homosexuality and gay marriage, could also face prosecution. That's what this authoritarian Government wants to ban — any dissent from radical progressive orthodoxy when it comes to sex and gender. Forty-six Queensland kindergarten children have been nominated as ‘non-binary’ by their parents this year. Kids do not think or question if they’ve been born in the wrong body unless it's been suggested to them. It is reprehensible that adults are imposing gender ideology on kids and inflicting them with gender distress. I spoke to Peta Credlin on Sky News Australia this week about this and my concerns about QLD kindergartens normalising gender ideology by asking for pronouns and gender identity on enrolment forms. #qldpol

It's wrong for parents to send their kids off to daycare just so they can "live their life" or work and not see them for the whole day. Children need at least one parent looking after them. Working is necessary, so one thing I would propose is for employers to offer in-office daycare services that will allow parents to attend to their children several times a day, and for work to mandate an hour-long break, only for parents and separate from their lunchbreak, so they can be with their kids. If more workplaces offered this, people would be more inclined to have children because the current system makes it very difficult for parents to be attentive and raise their kids and hold a good job at the same time.

I’m afraid I have some terrible news. The governor of America’s largest and richest state has just signed a law that puts 10 million children and adolescents in grave danger of medical mistreatment. The media headlines have it wrong. They claim that California Governor Gavin Newsom’s new law protects children by stopping public schools from outing their new gender to their parents. It does just the opposite. It makes children vulnerable to irreversible and lifelong medical abuse and mistreatment. And it is all based on the pseudoscientific idea that some children are born into the wrong bodies and that we can change a person’s sex through drugs and surgery. For any of this to make sense, you have to understand what’s happening in Britain. Several years ago, the government appointed a well-respected pediatrician named Hillary Cass to investigate whether it was ethical to block the puberty of children, give them opposite-sex hormones, and perform surgeries on their bodies to make them feel better about their gender. Dr. Cass came back a few weeks ago and said no, absolutely not. Around the same time, the British government banned puberty blockers nationwide. And, just a few days ago, the new Labor Party government affirmed that it would maintain the former government’s ban. In her report, Cass said that the so-called “social transition,” whereby a child adopts the identity of the opposite sex, is not a neutral act and has psychological consequences. This means it is the first step toward medical intervention. What Gavin Newsom has done is actively prevented schools from informing parents that their children have been put on a medical pathway. This is an outrageous attack on the rights of children and parents. Children have a right to go through puberty. No adult should be able to block their puberty. And parents have a right to know if their child thinks that they are the opposite sex or were born into the wrong body. We have seen with leaked internal documents of the leading gender medicine group, WPATH, that these medical interventions, namely puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery, are not only irreversible but result in sterilization and loss of sexual function. Children or adolescents are simply not mature enough to understand the effects of so-called “gender-affirming care.” They cannot, in other words, give their informed consent. The new law creates the grave risk that activist teachers, students, and outside groups will convince their children that they were born into the wrong body, and hide their “social transition” from parents, which will lead to harmful medical mistreatment. As such, the law that Newsom just signed is the opposite of what both children and their parents need. We need schools to immediately warn parents if their children think they are the opposite sex. After all, this is a diagnosable psychiatric condition known as “gender dysphoria.” And if your child has a psychiatric disorder, whether anxiety, depression, an eating disorder, or gender dysphoria, you have a right to know. And schools must stop teaching children, or allowing other people to teach children, the pseudoscientific and dehumanizing ideas that it’s possible to be born into the wrong body and possible to change one’s sex. As such, either the legislature, the courts, or a ballot initiative will be required to nullify Newsom’s law. Until then, it is important to spread the word to parents that California public schools are fundamentally unsafe for the millions of children who attend them.

This family was going out to dinner as a family of 5. After their meal they were contemplating on dessert. But the dad refuses to pay for it since he claims he can make it for free. He then asks the server for cinnamon. And he mixes it with the sugar packets at the table. He spreads butter on tortillas and coats them with the cinnamon sugar mixture and gives them to his kids as their dessert. I know people try to find ways to save money when dining out, but is this a good way to do it or can it be viewed as being cheap and tacky?
