Over the past weeks, we have continued advancing the Gas Generator Qualification campaign to ensure this hardware is fully ready for flight. Our Qualification Model (QM) Gas Generator has successfully accumulated over 15 minutes of operating time across 20 test runs, covering all launch and re-entry scenarios. These tests included: ▪️Ignition and short-duration burn (5 s) ▪️Medium engine running time (20 s) ▪️Stage 1 nominal burn duration (40 s) ▪️Longest Burn (LB) for engine duty cycle ▪️Extended burn (+10%) for qualification margins With more than 15 minutes of accumulated runtime, this Gas Generator has operated at over 400% of a single mission requirement, including simulations of 3 booster re-entry burns, preparing the hardware for reusability conditions. Hardware reliability is a must, and with all those tests, PLD Space can better determine when if hardware can fail during the process and introduce improvements that allow MIURA 5 to a successful mission 🚀

We are back at it with forward module testing, gearing up for New Glenn’s second flight. Part of this testing campaign is to activate the hydrogen peroxide system that fuels our Reaction Control System, or RCS. The GS1 RCS provides 20,000 lbf thrust in any direction, allowing the first stage to reorient itself in space before re-entry and to precisely target Jacklyn in high winds during landing. To give you an idea, a single F-18 Super Hornet F414 engine provides a similar amount of thrust at 22,000 lbf, so you can see how powerful this system is. The RCS performed nominally during our NG-1 flight and successfully reoriented GS1 to within 0.5 deg of our target attitude during exo-atmospheric flight.

Over the past few months, our Midnight program has consistently delivered strong results. We're now routinely flying longer, faster & higher as we expand the aircraft’s operational envelope. Recent flights have exceeded 55 miles, more than 30 minutes of flight time, altitudes up to our 10,000-foot service ceiling, and speeds in excess of 150 miles per hour. These missions are providing valuable certification data, while closely mirroring the majority of mission profiles we expect in early urban deployment environments. Our next flight test phase with Midnight will be piloted VTOL, including full transition flights with our type certification intent four-blade aft propellers. Unlike the CTOL envelope that we are now close to completing testing on, the VTOL and transition flight regimes are not new for Midnight, as we have previously completed an extensive flight test campaign with Midnight without a pilot onboard. Our progression from non-piloted VTOL to piloted CTOL to piloted VTOL & CTOL campaigns is optimized for safety and disciplined execution that builds our readiness for commercial operations. The momentum continues to grow, and the team continues to deliver.

🇺🇸 STARSHIP FLIGHT 11: SHIP 38 HEADS TO THE PAD Elon confirmed launch is set for Monday ~5PM CT, building on the success of Flight 10 with high-stakes upgrades and aggressive testing. The booster, reused from Flight 8, will launch with 24 flight-proven Raptor engines and test a new 13-5-3 landing burn configuration, ending with a hover and drop into the Gulf of Mexico - no catch attempt. Starship will perform in-space tests, including a Raptor engine relight and deployment of 8 Starlink simulators. These are suborbital and will burn up on reentry. Reentry is designed to push limits: heat shield tiles have been deliberately removed in vulnerable areas to stress-test the system. The ship will attempt a final dynamic banking maneuver, testing the subsonic return profile for future landings at Starbase, with splashdown set for the Indian Ocean. We’re proud to reveal our powerful new in-house 3D printed Hadfield Engine Mk III - 100% designed, manufactured, tested and flown in Canada by NordSpace. With this new version, we are bringing massive improvements to thrust and regenerative cooling as we prepare for our first flight this year and make Canadian history. Seeing this engine come to life after months of painstaking design, analysis, testing, and refinement was a breathtaking moment for the entire NordSpace team. This version of the Hadfield Engine also marks our first engine designed to transition NordSpace from pressure fed systems to turbo pump fed cycles (currently under active development) and very long duration burns. These would be massive leaps forward for Canada’s orbital space launch ambitions and sovereign assured access to space. Our team has developed unique mastery over metal 3D printing complex aerospace components to produce flawless prints like this engine with challenging internal geometries, angles, and features. As for next steps, this engine will be post processed, inspected, and heat treated all in-house, then shipped to our new Darkhorse propulsion test cell at our Canadian Space Research Range. Let’s talk about Zipline’s test sites and who we’re hiring for 🧵 They are where elite talent meets 24/7 large scale high volume testing. They’re the engine that helped scale Zipline to the largest autonomous delivery service on earth, 5,000+ autonomous trips around the world and we’re just getting started. Zipline's testing in 2025: 315,000+ test flights 🚀 35,000+ flight hours (480+ straight days of nonstop flying) 🙂‍ 3,000+ flights per day 📈 Our test sites are built to push our system to the max so that we de-risk tomorrow. Each one tackles a different brutal edgecase to make sure the system’s reliability is bulletproof. Our 'engineering test site' in the video I posted is reconfigured every few weeks: new obstacles are added, new flight apps reviewed, new edge cases are tested in any weather condition. Every new software build deploys here first, into live airspace. Our other sites are placed around the U.S. and are focused on testing in severe conditions that ground most if not all other forms of transport. They operate in scorching heat of up to 125 degrees, high-altitudes, intense rainstorms, 60+ mph winds, hail, sleet, and extreme cold-weather, down to -20F. Heavy ice and snow accumulation on propulsion and sensors is the norm. We aggressively chase these conditions in test so we dominate when it really matters. We are now developing 5+ new test sites, each one dialed in to push even more extreme weather and edge conditions. What I am especially proud of is that our safety has kept improving even as flight volume, complexity and environmental hostility increases. We’ve been able to test and develop at a scale that’s unprecedented in aviation history because our teams own a 100% fully vertical tech stack, built hand in hand with our flight and application software teams. We have to have the most robust airspace and fleet management tools on earth because Zipline will soon operate the largest fleet of aircraft on earth. Now to the fun part, we're hiring! 🚀 Remittix Beta Wallet Testing Update 🚀 We are excited to share that the Remittix Beta Wallet Testing has been live since September 15th, with a carefully selected group of early investors actively participating in the process. These investors have been testing the wallet, exploring its features, and providing constructive feedback directly to our project leads and development team. Their input has been invaluable, allowing us to focus on improving the user interface to make it more user-friendly, polished, and visually appealing. To clarify the 5 Billion Naira Allocation for Palliative to various states of the Country, Plateau State Government has received 2 Billion which includes a 52% grant component and 48% loan component. Part of the 5 billion Naira, we have been mandated to use 1 billion Naira to buy rice locally. This is to ensure that money circulates within the local economy. Along with the allocation, 3,000 bags of rice was received and has been shared to the Local Governments and I want to pledge my honor that not a single kobo of the 5 billion Naira will be misused. We have also set up a committee which will advice the Government on possible palliative options which we will look at so that it covers the wide spectrum of the society. We will be looking at issues like improving the bursary of our students, getting fertilizers at a subsidized rate for our farmers and all the other components we can look at within the constraint of the resources at our disposal. By the Grace of God, we will do this responsibly.

Our ground speed⚠️ test video on the PROTOTYPE: We ran the Turbojet engine at 60% throttle & No afterburner for this test⚠️. The UAV prototype started accelerating to about 80km/h, as it approached high speed, control became difficult & instability set in, leading to a crash, we will need to redo the wheel placements & weight distribution✅. The UAV weighs about 65kg fully loaded, although our engine was capable of propelling it, we will need to redesign the build to reduce weight by about 40% to make flight possible & stable, we will be exploring a full aluminum or composite material build. After the crash, the wheels jammed up & misaligned, making further runway tests impossible, the power of the engine made the jammed tyres screech on the tarmac. We did not exceed 60% throttle talk more of using Afterburner mode because of control instability. Testing the first bridge transactions on Tensora L2. What you’re seeing here is a live transfer between BSC Mainnet and Tensora Layer 2, powered by our native Optimism-compatible contracts. Space Perspective has successfully completed a historic flight demonstration of Spaceship Neptune-Excelsior, the fully-operational test vehicle that will take Explorers to space. Around sunrise on Sunday, it launched from the deck of Marine Spaceport (MS) Voyager, propelled by our SpaceBalloon™ to ~100,000 feet (~30 km). Over the course of several hours, our engineering teams monitored and controlled the capsule, eventually bringing it down through a controlled descent and splashdown. This flight tested a multitude of systems, including launch & ascent through our patented launch system aboard MS Voyager, cabin pressure and stability at peak altitude aboard the capsule, our Environmental Control and Life Support systems, and all aspects of our SpaceBalloon™, including the material performance and our patent pending venting mechanisms. We also tested capsule communications with Mission Control and Voyager. While these are just a few of the many complex systems, the entire flight profile was successfully executed and all systems operated nominally. Success! 🚀 🇨🇦 At 3:45 PM EDT on Friday May 16th, 2025, we successfully tested both our new orbital Darkhorse engine test cell and our new third generation 3D printed Hadfield liquid rocket engine for the first time, marking a significant step towards Canada’s first commercial space launch. The test ran for 7 seconds at our propulsion test range, a company-owned secure site in Northeastern Ontario, successfully delivering nominal thrust, active cooling, and impulse results. This major test of the Darkhorse test cell and Hadfield Mk III engine lays the groundwork for NordSpace's Tundra orbital rocket, as the test cell is specifically designed to integrate with our turbo pump assembly in the next phase of propulsion development. Long duration tests are scheduled for the coming days, along with refinements to fuel mixture ratios and higher-pressure scenarios to test the limits of Darkhorse and our new engines. Minor upgrades and fixes to address a harmless leak in the cryogenic liquid oxygen line and design changes to our experimental control rods have already been made. Hot on the heels of our successful integrated test of our Taiga sub-orbital launch vehicle back in January, rapid developments and approvals at our spaceport in Newfoundland and Labrador, announcement of the SHARP (Supersonics and Hypersonics Applications Research Program), hosting the inaugural Canadian Space Launch Conference in Ottawa, and more - NordSpace is strengthening its position every day to ensure sovereign space launch is not just possible, but probable for Canada. Our historic first experimental flight is scheduled for 2025 from our spaceport, Spaceport Canada.
