The ION CORE has been BUFFED! It now delivers 5 Pulses (up from 4 Pulses) and deals 8% of the Base Zombie Health (up from 5%). It is still active for about 10 seconds per Pulse. - Each Pulse is now capable of killing a full-health, unarmored zombie. Theoretically, this takes the ION CORE from getting roughly ~80 Kills all the way to ~200+ Kills per activation. - Although those numbers are VERY unrealistic since Armored Zombies require more damage, and each zombie needs to be fully within the field to completely die, which won't really happen outside of the first Pulse. That being said, I was EASILY able to kill 90%+ of the zombies at Round 40 & 41 while ONLY using the Ion Core. Easily one of my favorite Streaks in Zombies. Amazing area denial!

[ New Survivor - Archer (Brynhildr Vilulf) ] ※ Test Server Availability: February 28, 2025 ※ Official Server Availability: March 13, 2025 External Trait: Keel Bow Wields a bow crafted from the keel of a sunken ship. Hold to draw the bow and fire a powerful arrow in a specific direction. Drawing the bow reduces Movement Speed by 10%, when the arrow hits the Hunter, their actions are briefly interrupted, and they are inflicted with Laceration. A regular hit deals 50 Laceration Damage, while a hit to the Hunter's core deals 100 Laceration Damage. If the bow is drawn for less than 1.2 seconds, Laceration Damage is reduced to 40%. While drawing the bow, the shot will gradually lock on to any visible Hunter. Once locked on, the shot is guaranteed to hit. [Laceration] The Hunter's Movement Speed directly affects the rate at which Laceration Damage accumulates. The faster the Hunter moves, the quicker the damage increases. Remaining still causes the Laceration Damage to gradually decrease. When Laceration Damage reaches 100, the Hunter is stunned for 2.5 seconds. External Trait: Crossbow Carries a concealed crossbow. Valora’s next patch is big, so we’ll break it down part by part. This first post is focused on progression and combat. Level cap is moving from 40 to 100, with a new XP curve made for a much longer grind. Combat is also getting deeper. 4 new spells have been added, bringing the total to 7: • Blink (lvl 40): teleport with cooldown • Frostbite (lvl 60): damage + MP removal • Blastwave (lvl 80): AoE damage • Cataclysm (lvl 100): heavy damage + AP removal Spell damage is no longer fixed. Spells now roll between a min and max value, adding a real chance factor to PvM and PvP. Spells can also be upgraded up to rank 5 using spell points earned while leveling, but players won’t be able to max everything. Different choices, different builds. This is only one part of the patch. Next posts will focus on the dungeon, new mobs, boss fight, drops, new high-level items, gear sets, bug fixes, and item stat changes. The dungeon boss will also drop new items, including the second Valdoria relic out of the 6 total relics. Full technical details will be added to the wiki when the patch is deployed.

Still pondering the ramifications of the bomb changes to gameplay. I am curious about 2 current outcomes since the update. 1HP damage happening no matter where you are on the map. Is this intentional or just an unintended side effect? And if it is intentional, what is the purpose of being condemned to death at 1HP if the bomb detonates no matter how far from the C4 you are. The second being no damage to armour. It is rare that you live long enough to replenish armour, but bomb damage is usually one of the key ways players have their armour unknowingly chipped away at. But again is this an intentional change or just something that has arisen due to the change in the mechanic? I am not concerned with the debate around the indicator for bomb damage range being noobfriendly. Some people will view it as a quality of life upgrade, others will view it as removing a skill they either have, or believe, should be learnt and not spoonfed by the UI - either way I would prefer to focus on the outcomes of the gameplay.

Another electrically supercharged storm rolled across Pennsylvania last night, with emergency tornado alerts being sent off at dusk, and the end result was power was knocked out for more places. Here is another video of some of the damage from the July 4th storm of fury. Crews are working hard to restore access to the grid for tens of thousands, and cleanup has begun, but a lot of people are very shaken up from this ordeal. Nothing like this has been experienced in Central PA in a loooong time. All-time historic long-duration heat record was set for Philly from this heat dome. Based on what we're observing geophysically, welcome to the new normal.
