I was recently at the Customer Service counter at a Walmart. There was an older lady in front of me, there to purchase a money order. The cashier asked what it was for, so the lady showed her something on her phone. The cashier realized very quickly that the lady was being scammed and put a stop to it. I spoke with a manager to let them know what happened, and what a great job the cashier did - super calm and professional… and it turned out she was a new hire. Hopefully they treat her well!

This is real. My grandma was almost victim of this scam. I went to visit her as she was on the phone with a foreigner trying to guide her into creating a crypto account. She got very upset with me as I tried to stop her. I called the bank, told them what was happening, and they confirmed with her it was a scam. Please show this video to all your elderly friends and family.

@Notwokenow I know of a lady they took for $140,000. I’ve had computer viruses. Always a Hindu on the line. India’s government needs to step up or we need to and absolutely trace these calls and send in the Marines. They steal MILLIONS everyday.

99% of the time I hear the accent on the phone I just drop the call and block the number . Not to stereotype or anything but 99% of the time that voice with this accent is just trying to scam you off something, either your details , info or money. However , a few very few are genuine marketers or recruiters or customers service . But that’s literally just 1% of the calls

@Notwokenow Thankfully someone was there to step in! My old boss’ mom was scammed out of $10,000 the same way. It was the “bank” calling and she went to a nearby store and sent it to them via bitcoin. It’s sick how they are able to scam people like this! Especially the most vulnerable!
