@PeterAttiaMD I absolutely agree! I’ve been so frustrated lately by even cardiologists who accept a higher blood pressure as normal. (Personally I may need to give up nicotine altogether)

HTN is the silent killer. For every 20 mmHg increase in sys BP or 10 mmHg increase in dia BP this results in a 10x stressor on the heart. So a sys BP of 180 mmHg puts a 1000x stressor on the heart compared to a BP of 120 mmHg. Aggregate that over 100k beats over the course of weeks and one can see the compounding effects.
