@hsu_steve "Voluntarily" is doing a lot of work here. You also "voluntarily" pay taxes. When the alternative is getting crushed, that's not a choice — it's a coordination trap. The word he's looking for is coercion without a coercer.

I like to own the infrastructure as well as the assets. If you're gonna own Bitcoin, back then, why wouldn't you own the entity that mines Bitcoin? But really, Bitzero, has changed so much since my original investment. It's a power company. It's agnostic to who uses its power. You can mine Bitcoin, you can mine Ethereum, or you can build a data center, or build an AI compute. It doesn't matter. They're a power real estate company, and you don't have to guess the winners and losers in AI anymore. You're not going anywhere without power. All roads lead to Bitzero.

Some people need to hear this again. I've said it countless times before in pretty much all my videos over the last year(s): If you're serious about software engineering (i.e., you want to get or keep a job or get serious work done) => You NEED to be open to AI! Use it as a tool. Don't dismiss it as "slop" or a fad. If that's your take, you need to THINK AGAIN. The Zig approach of banning AI is NOT the way unless you're doing this for your personal joy. Which is fine. It really is. But it will NOT land you a job, if that's what you're going for. And rightfully so, because I truly am convinced that you ARE way more productive with AI. When using it correctly. As a tool. Which is what we're all still figuring out.

Sorry to break it to you, but if you think AI can automate all your marketing, you’re probably going to be disappointed. Yes, AI can write your posts. It can create images. It can analyze data. It can even help you build campaigns faster. But faster does not always mean better. AI still needs someone to tell it what matters. It needs someone to understand the customer, choose the right message, and decide what is actually worth creating. Because your goal is not to produce more content. Your goal is to become more visible. You need to know where people are discovering your brand. Are you showing up on Google? Are you being mentioned by ChatGPT and other AI platforms? Are your competitors showing up more often than you? That is where AI becomes useful. Not when it replaces your marketing, but when it helps you see what you could not see before. With you can track your share of visibility across search and AI platforms. You can see where your brand appears, where your competitors are winning, and which topics could help you get mentioned more often. So do not use AI to put your marketing on autopilot. Use it to make better decisions, move faster, and become harder to ignore.
