Hey @grok can you explain this more?

Bottled water contains microplastics, averaging 240,000 particles per liter, mostly nanoplastics from bottles and caps. Animal studies suggest risks like heart disease, reduced fertility, and cancer, as these particles can enter human tissues. However, human health impacts lack conclusive evidence; the WHO and others call for more research due to no scientific consensus. Microplastics are also in tap water, though possibly less. Using glass or steel containers may reduce exposure, but microplastics are widespread in the environment.

Yep! I’m drinking plain old tap water out of stainless steel and a stainless steel straw. We are exposed to far too much plastic!

The irony of eating what we use to purchase what we should be eating, which some is harmful to human health. Yikes....I am going down a rabbit hole in my own head.... 🤪

This is precisely why we need to demand change in plastic products. Corn and hemp based plastics are safer for us and the earth. Dismantling the empiricist companies is the first step

And just think how much money they got out of all of us just to poison us

But when we drink water, does it go directly to the bloodstream or the alimentary canal? Does this mean that the plastics in the alimentary canal percolates thriugh the system into the blood vessels? Not entirely disputing it but just thinking out loud
