Played around with using a Vulkan Strap on seated cable rows this morning….have to say, I can truly feel the back using the strap as it locks in the elbows.

Upright Rows This is a great movement for the Delts and traps that got a bad rap for being hard on the shoulders. While it’s true that it can cause discomfort in some, it’s not inherently bad for your shoulders. If you have issue with a barbell, using dumbbells, or a rope/strap with a cable might help you. If those still cause issues this is by no means a must have in the rotation. Plenty of other ways to get the job done, but I’d recommend identifying the issue with your shoulders and trying to correct it before it becomes troublesome in other movements.

Uses: trains the upper and mid-back, plus the posterior chain, when you don’t have a cable stack. Result: better posture, a thicker back, and pulls that feel stronger next session.
