Only if education could be this interactive ❤️‍🔥 I've had a looong wish to build something genuinely useful through vibe coding, and I finally did it. A 3D human anatomy application built with Three.js using GPT 5.6 Sol. It all started with a single design image that I created using GPT Image 2.0. I then used it to generate every 3D organ image, one by one. Next, I converted each of those images into 3D models using Tripo (and no, they didn't sponsor this 😄). After that, I opened Codex, wrote a master prompt based on the design, and gave it the prompt, the design image, and all the 3D models. Codex built the first version beautifully, but there was one big problem. Every single 3D model was nearly 120-150 MB. That obviously wasn't practical for the web and was giving a performance of 16fps. After a few iterations, Codex optimized each model down to roughly 2–5.5 MB while preserving the visual quality, reducing the total asset size from ~900 MB to just 28.6 MB. And each model loads on demand. Along the way, Codex also generated those anatomical illustrations showing where each organ sits in the human body, and even created the interactive hotspot markers that explain different parts of every organ. It handled all of that. The process wasn't exactly one shot, but it also wasn't difficult. You just have to do it step by step. It genuinely felt like building something that could make learning anatomy much more engaging. The inspiration came from Dilum Sanjaya's 3D animal plant cell project. Your our history shouldn’t be taught in a boring way 🫠 I’ve always loved history, but I could never imagine what life actually looked like back then. So I built Empire Atlas, a 3D interactive explorer of 8 historical empires using Three.js and Kimi.ai K3 🔥 It lets you explore how people lived, what their homes looked like, their maps, daily life, interiors, and more. Properly researched. But the craziest part is that this was near one shot vibe coded with Kimi K3 🤯 When I previously built a 3D anatomy app with GPT 5.6 sol, I had to iterate on performance and optimization. With Kimi, the moment I handed over the 3D assets (generated using Tripo), prompt and design (by GPT Image 2.0), it created an 11 step engineering plan to build the entire thing. The very first step it did was optimizing the assets. It took nearly 500MB of 3D assets and brought them down to just 17.8MB using mesh simplification, Draco compression, and 1024px WebP textures. Absolutely nuts. It also generated 56 historical images across the 8 empires showing daily life, maps, interiors, and more using its image plugin with batch processing. Those were converted to WebP too, bringing the total image size to around 10MB. That’s a huge reason the experience loads so fast on website. It's engineering workflow or intelligence has really impressed me so far. The only downside is that it took more than 5 hours, though 😅 Anyway, back to history. In Empire Atlas, you can explore 8 different empires and see how people and our ancestors lived at that time. I really love those textures I was able to create using Tripo. You can explore their homes in 3D, and there’s so much more we could do with this. We could extend these houses into fully explorable interiors and create increasingly realistic reconstructions of what life actually looked like. And maybe create fun education games too. How many of you actually know how "what you eat" grows? 🤔 I never learned crop science in school. I learned it by walking around our farm with my father, who showed me different crops and explained how they grow. But not everyone has access to a farm, so I built a 3D Crop Science application in Three.js using Claude Opus 5 to make that learning experience more visual and interactive. It is an exploration of different types of seeds where each seed has three different stages. The first stage shows the whole seed. The second stage is a cross section that shows what is inside the seed and how it grows. The third stage shows the germination phase through a 3D model. There are 24 models in total. The original models were 1,349.6 MB, which Claude optimized down to just 11.6 MB in total. All of the 3D models were generated using Tripo. Claude also created visual information for each seed showing details like seed type, storage tissue and germination phase. Each seed also has a YouTube video that shows how it actually grows in the real world. There is also a section showing where each seed is commonly grown using both a 3D globe and a flat map. You can explore different regions and click on specific areas to see more information about where that seed is grown. The entire experience is fully responsive and also includes quizzes that you can take in both normal and 3D formats. I asked Garry Tan how to use meta prompting to get better at AI: "My partners at YC Jared Friedman and Pete Koomen showed me how to do this. You can take almost anything that you do all the time and just drop it into a context window. And then say, “Here’s a bunch of inputs and outputs." And maybe you also add a bunch of notes. And then you tell it, “Write me a prompt that can act as an agent that takes this input and makes this output over here.” You can do this for almost any type of knowledge work. And you can even introspect. "What are things you notice that I did to convert this from the input to the output?”. And then you can just start using the prompt. Initially, it’s going to suck. Because it’s just not that smart yet. But what’s funny is now, I also use it to Iterate my writing. You can be very direct, "I would never say that", "Don’t say it like this", or "Oh, you used the long word there, use the short word". Just speak to it conversationally. And then when you're happy with the output, you can use that new output to make a new prompt. "Based on this conversation, give me a better initial prompt that incorporates all the things we talked about." And you can do this with literally everything. And in theory, there’s so much it applies to that people do day-to-day. You could use it for tweets. You could use it for editing podcasts. You can use it for pretty much everything. I have a folder of prompts that I use all the time. My YouTube prompt is on v27 or something. I'll go through this process with all the different max models. I'll use GPT 5.2 Pro. I’ll use Grok. I'll use Claude. Then, I’ll take all the outputs from all the models and put them into Claude and say "Here’s my prompt, here’s the output from four LLMs, including yourself. Rate each response and tell me what the pros and cons of each approach are." And I usually say "give it to me in numbered form". And then you can agree with one, disagree with two, tell it three is this or that. And then after that, you say given all of this, synthesize it."
