Really bizarre moment in yesterday's game. 60 seconds does elapse from the try being scored but it's unclear whether the ref had gone to TMO & there's a clear lack of communication between the ref & Sheedy with no shot clock in the ground.

The worst bit about this is not even checking the Ewers late hit.

Ref called him at 20 seconds. Sheedy says "my process is longer than 20". 🤷‍♂️

Why does video start after ref gives 20 second warning? There was communication. Unless ref tells him to wait it’s a known fact he has 60 seconds from when the try was awarded. It is poor that there is no shot clock at the stadium though.

I’m a Stormers fan and that was nonsense. With no shot clock, there should be more leeway. But playing devils advocate, Sheedy was very tardy with his kick set up too. Also the stadium does actually have a clock (I’ve seen it) but it hasn’t worked for weeks now. Who knows why🤷‍♂️

What about the rest of the points missed due to poor place kicking, happens too often.
