There are several airdefence systems that can intercept those rockets while it goes to space. For example US system THAAD, Indian AD-1, and russian s-400 are designed for this. And that is why it was deployed closer to russian borders after russia started threatening to Europe

there is absolutely nothing magical, or even technically impressive, about this missile. it's a ballistic missile, similar to just about every other ballistic missile. it goes way up, then falls back down at high speeds. it has MIRVs. it's not particularly precise (Continued)

Statement by the President of the Russian Federation โšก๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บPUTIN CONFIRMS NUKE-CAPABLE BALLISTIC MISSILE STRIKE ON UKRAINE, stating it was test of state-of-the-art Oreshnik (โ€œHazelโ€) medium-range ballistic missiles, armed with non-nuclear warheads on huge Dnepropetrovsk weapons factory in #Ukraine. Russian leader states test launch is response to U.S. and UK long-range missiles targeting pre-war Russia, adding that #Washingtonโ€™s warmongering expansion direct reason for Moscowโ€™s retaliatory measure: We are developing medium- and shorter-range missiles as a response to U.S. plans to produce and deploy medium- and shorter-range missiles in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The United States made a mistake by unilaterally destroying the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty in 2019 under a far-fetched pretext. Let me remind you that Russia voluntarily, unilaterally committed itself not to deploy medium- and shorter-range missiles until American weapons of this kind appear in any region of the world. Let me repeat that we are conducting combat tests of the Oreshnik missile system in response to the aggressive actions of #NATO countries against #Russia Oreshnik missiles have top speed of Mach 10 - thatโ€™s whopping 3 km per SECOND - with Russian Prez adding that civilians will be given advance warning before Russian forces use ballistic missiles.

BREAKING: Putin appears to threaten the West with Nuclear Weapons! Dear Republicans, Vladimir Putin is not your friend. Putin is now apparently threatening the West with Nuclear weapons. In his speech to the nation, Putin hit back on comments made that it canโ€™t be ruled out that the West could send troops to Ukraine to help them defend their country from Russia. โ€œEverything that they are coming up with now, with which they threaten the entire world โ€“ all this really threatens a conflict with the use of nuclear weapons, and therefore the destruction of civilization โ€“ donโ€™t they understand this, or what? They must ultimately understand that we also have weapons โ€“ and they know about it, just as I now said โ€“ we also have weapons that can hit targets on their territory.โ€ The argument that we shouldnโ€™t give aid to an ally whom we have an agreement with to provide security to, because Putin has Nuclear weapons and may use them, is a cowardly, weak argument. If the bully is beating up on the weak kid in school, you shouldnโ€™t let his threats toward you prevent you from defending that kid or getting that kid some help, unless you are weak and cowardly yourself. A strong country stands up to Putin. They give Ukraine what they need to defend themselves, before itโ€™s too late. Do you honestly think that once Putin takes Ukraine, he will be happy? Do you think his threats will suddenly stop?

Alastair Crooke: The US๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ may have signalled that it will resume nuclear weapons testing because Trump misunderstood a Russian missile test as a nuclear test โ€˜It seems to be based on a misunderstanding. Allegedly, Trump has proposed the idea of nuclear tests in response to Russian nuclear tests. But there hasnโ€™t been a Russian nuclear test. The Burevestnik missile, that was publicised these recent days, like the Oreshnik. But this one has a nuclear power. It has got a propulsion system that is nuclear-based. Its warhead isnโ€™t. There isnโ€™t a nuclear warhead on it. It is a conventional warhead, but it is just instead of having a rocket propulsion, it has a nuclear drive that propels it. And this is why itโ€™s able to stay aloft for a very long time, and in fact traverse the whole globe. But itโ€™s nuclear propulsion, not a nuclear weapon. Did Trump understand that? Or did he just think this was a new nuclear weapon that Russia was testing? He probably didnโ€™t understand that it wasnโ€™t. It was just its propulsion mechanism that is nuclear, but not its warhead. Did Trump understand that? Or did he just think this was a new nuclear weapon that Russia was testing? He probably didnโ€™t understand that it wasnโ€™t. It was just its propulsion mechanism that is nuclear, but not its warhead. Now, whether the Russians have been testing underground before, I doubt itโ€ฆIโ€™m sure they would have taken every opportunity to say it if they thought they had detected Russian or Chinese underground tests.โ€™ -Alastair Crooke, the former Middle East Advisor to the EU Foreign Policy Chief, on the latest episode of Going Underground FULL INTERVIEW BELOW IN THE REPLIES๐Ÿ‘‡

Human rights are invoked selectively by America to delegitimize its next target. In 1942, the U.S. allied with Russia to defeat Germany. In 1972, the U.S. allied with China to defeat Russia. In 2022, the U.S. allied with India to defeat China. This is called offshore balancing. Basically, the number one allies with the number three against the number two until number two is defeated, then rinse and repeat. Human results over human rights, like is their standard of living increasing? Is their life expectancy increasing? Are they at peace? Human rights are just talk and human results are reality. The U.S. allied with Iraq against Iran but basically, it was playing both sides. And then it went against Iraq. Then it allied with Osama Bin Laden against the Soviet Union. And then of course it went against Osama. Then U.S. shook Qaddafi's hand and later blew up Qaddafi. So India needs to be really cautious. And any deal it signs, it should take the money. It should deliver on its side. It should very carefully negotiate what its side of affairs is. And at no point should it turn itself into Ukraine or even Japan. You do not want to be Ukraine. You don't even want to be Germany. Germany has also had to sort of suicide bomb itself, had to destroy its economy. It's de-industrialized. If you understand the game, you can win the game. There's a huge difference also between friend, ally, and enemy of the enemy. India also recognizes there are areas of joint interest with China. Neither of them wants to be nuked by the dollar. The dollar is the US's main export. Dollar is a payment network and all the banks are like nodes in this network; you're like a consumer. You're a node of a node. And the Federal Reserve can tell any bank, okay, you no longer have a license. You're not on the Fedwire network, or it can tell any individual, your account is frozen. The Federal Reserve controls not just the dollar network, but the Canadian dollar network and the Bank of Japan. All of those other Western countries are like sister networks to the dollar, just like WhatsApp and Instagram are sister networks to Facebook itself. They can de-platform, sanction, seize, and freeze on any of these dollar or dollar-related networks. India, China, Russia, but also Saudi, Israel, Brazil, all other countries don't want the West to have a remote kill switch for their economy because they can see that the West can just make up some story about the country, demonize them, hit a button, and they'll say, like, Saddam had WMD. He didn't have WMD. It was completely fake. Every country has learned that the US can literally manufacture a story, blow up your country, pay no penalty for it, and they will easily do the same with the dollar if you let them. Therefore, de-dollarization is national self-defense. The rule is IMF, World Bank, UN, all of these are Western set up institutions, and they get to make up the rules. That's why BRICS is arising. The USA, China, and India, that's a tripolar model. It's the West, the Abrahamic world, China, the Sinic world, and then the Dharmic or Indian world. The entire mental model of people is around a world where only the West matters. And to have these two civilizations rising to be at least a third of the world each is a total mindset shift for everybody.

๐ŸšจNUCLEAR EXTINCTION: PUTIN HAS THREATENED ANNIHILATION IF A NUCLEAR STRIKE IS DETECTED Putin's recent statements on nuclear capabilities should be alarming to EVERYONE. He threatened โ€˜enemiesโ€™ with total nuclear annihilation, leaving 'no chance of survival' Putin emphasized that once Nuclear missile launches are detected, a massive retaliatory strike of HUNDREDS of Russian Nuclear missiles will be unleashed from various directions, ensuring that โ€˜no single enemy survives.โ€™ In other words, any Nuclear strike from any NATO member could mean a simultaneous and total nuclear strike against all NATO nuclear powers, including the U.S. It's important to note that NATO has never threatened a first strike on Moscow. Recent reports suggested suspicions of a new test in the Arctic involving the Burevestnik, a super powerful missile with an onboard nuclear reactor. Putin also bragged about the successful testing of the 'Sarmat' or 'Satan-2,' an unstoppable ICBM that travels at 15,880 mph and is the size of a 14-storey tower block. He vowed to move towards mass production and combat duty deployment soon. When asked about resuming nuclear weapons testing, Putin remained non-committal, suggesting Russia could potentially revoke ratification of the international nuclear test ban treaty. MY THOUGHTS: The Ukraine war is complex. Russia is at fault, and denying this is ridiculous. This does NOT mean NATO is also not at fault, and it does not mean one cannot criticize the West for not doing enough to END the war. Voters, the media, and lawmakers, need to take steps in DE-ESCALATING this war rather than criticizing those who do so. I donโ€™t want to sound alarming, but if this war gets out of control, the world is at risk of more destruction than both World Wars combined. Although slim, this is the closest we've been to such a position since the Cold War. Russia is known to bluff, and people like to compare this to the โ€˜Boy That Cried Wolfโ€™. What those people forget is that eventually, the boy cried wolf and the wolf was actually there, killing the boy. This is a risk the world CANNOT AFFORD.

Arestovich on Ukraine's attack yesterday not just on Putin's residence, but on a "nuclear decision-making center": According to Western sources, there was a strike. I'm not saying this; they're saying this. Secondly, it wasn't just a residence. It was a special Russian facility designed to command and control the Russian armed forces in the event of a nuclear war. So, in terms of significance, it's like someone attacking Air Force One, the US presidential plane. It's a special facility, an entire city with outdoor structures, underground structures. And all sorts of communication hubs. According to Western sources, drones were flying. 90 or 91, no one knows. But they were most likely targeting the communication hubs. They're verifying this information. And frankly, they didn't reach their destination. But there was a strike. Why are Russians so outraged? Well, because it was a strike on the command center of the nuclear triad and the Russian armed forces in general during a special period, during a large-scale war. That is, this is an attack on the holy of holies, and according to Russian nuclear doctrine, and the nuclear doctrine of any state possessing nuclear weapons, this is grounds for a nuclear response. Russia will not strike Kyiv with tactical nuclear weapons. This would be a sharp escalation, a change in the entire international framework. They won't agree to that. But the "Oreshnik" missile could land. I think it's almost 100% certain that ballistic missiles will hit the decision-making center. "POOL N3"
