This is a visualization of a Rydberg wavepacket. In simple terms it is a way of showing an electron in a very highly excited quantum state. The Math comes from the Schrödinger equation for hydrogen where the electron is described by a wavefunction rather than as a tiny ball moving on a fixed path. The yellow sphere at the centre is the proton, not the electron. The colored 3D surface around it shows places where the electron is more likely to be, i.e. a probability cloud.

I don't trust the CIA. I know Ghost Murmur is real because I've been explaining the exact physics for over two years. It has nothing to do with trusting authority. I researched and learned. The 'Pro' model in ChatGPT does look like a real upgrade - generations are 3-4x times faster and look at lot better. I wouldn't say it is a giant leap forward, but a material upgrade - generations are richer, with more detail and coherence. Considering that generations take c.20 minutes, I wonder if it becomes viable to include the Pro model inside Codex. The Pro mode is where they have a clear advantage vs Anthropic, who don't have an equivalent model.
