🚀 SpaceX Didn’t Just Push the Limits of Rocket Science—It Changed How We Experience Space. During its latest test flight, Starship traveled roughly halfway around the world, deploying 20 next-generation Starlink test satellites before surviving reentry and making its softest controlled splashdown yet in the Indian Ocean. But the... show more

Starship V3 executing a precision-controlled splashdown in the Indian Ocean A giant stainless-steel skyscraper falling back from space, flipping vertical, lighting its engines, and touching down in the ocean with absurd control This is the kind of thing that used to look like science fiction Now SpaceX is doing it in the real world

NEWS: SpaceX has released a statement after today's successful 11th Starship test flight. "Every major objective of the flight test was achieved, providing valuable data as we prepare the next generation of Starship and Super Heavy. The flight test began with Super Heavy igniting all 33 Raptor engines and ascending over the Gulf. The successful first-stage ascent was followed by a hot-staging maneuver, with Starship’s upper stage igniting its six Raptor engines to continue its flight to space. Following stage separation, the Super Heavy booster completed its boostback burn to put it on a course to a pre-planned splashdown zone off the coast of Texas using 12 of the 13 planned engines. Under the same angle of attack tested on the previous flight, the booster descended until successfully igniting all 13 planned engines (including one that did not relight during the boostback burn) for the high-thrust portion of the landing burn. The booster successfully executed a unique landing burn planned for use on the next generation booster. Super Heavy hovered above the water before shutting down its engines and splashing down. After completing a full-duration ascent burn, Starship achieved its planned velocity and trajectory. During flight, Starship successfully deployed eight Starlink simulators and executed the third in-space relight of a Raptor engine, demonstrating a critical capability for future deorbit burns. Starship re-entered the Earth’s atmosphere and was able to gather extensive data on the performance of its heatshield as it was intentionally stressed to test the limits of the vehicle’s capabilities. In the final minutes of flight, Starship performed a dynamic banking maneuver to mimic the trajectory that future missions returning to Starbase will fly. Starship then guided itself using its four flaps to the pre-planned splashdown zone in the Indian Ocean, successfully executing a landing flip, landing burn, and soft splashdown. Focus now turns to the next generation of Starship and Super Heavy, with multiple vehicles currently in active build and preparing for tests. This next iteration will be used for the first Starship orbital flights, operational payload missions, propellant transfer, and more as we iterate to a fully and rapidly reusable vehicle with service to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars, and beyond."

It was a clean, controlled ocean splashdown. The vehicle flipped vertically, completed its landing burn, and safely touched down before tipping and exploding, achieving 100% of its test objectives exactly as planned, including the explosion Yet, the legacy media like The Guardian deliberately choose headlines like "SpaceX rocket bursts into flames" to farm clicks, making it look like a failure when it's in fact the complete opposite, all for cheap sensationalism

🇺🇸 SPACEX FIRES UP SUPER HEAVY FOR STARSHIP FLIGHT 9 SpaceX just completed a static fire test of its Super Heavy booster ahead of Starship’s 9th flight. This isn’t its first rodeo—this booster flew on Flight 7 and returned safely. 29 of its 33 Raptor engines are already flight-proven, making this one of the most battle-tested rockets yet. All systems go for the next big push to orbit. Source: SpaceX

🚨SPACEX NAILS LAUNCH OF REVOLUTIONARY DIRECT-TO-CELL STARLINK SATELLITES SpaceX just successfully deployed 20 next-generation Starlink satellites to orbit - including 13 equipped with groundbreaking Direct to Cell capabilities. The Falcon 9 lifted off from Vandenberg, lighting up the California coast. The veteran booster, on its eighth flight, stuck another perfect landing on the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship in the Pacific Ocean. This marks another milestone in SpaceX's march toward global connectivity, with these new satellites set to enable direct communication between standard cell phones and space. Source: SpaceX

China on Wednesday successfully conducted a low-altitude demonstration and verification flight test for its Long March-10 carrier rocket and a maximum dynamic pressure abort flight test for its new-generation crewed spaceship system Mengzhou in the southern island province of Hainan, marking a major breakthrough for the country's future crewed lunar landing missions. The return capsule of the new-generation Mengzhou crewed spaceship has safely splashed down in the predetermined sea area, according to the China Manned Space Agency.

Dragon Launch Escape Initiated During the launch escape test, where SpaceX intentionally destroyed an entire rocket to prove its safety, Dragon was fed the normal launch sequence for an ISS mission. Dragon wasn’t told to escape, but its onboard autonomous flight computers noticed the loss of thrust on Falcon before the Merlin engines could even fully shut down. Once Dragon realized there was a mission critical anomaly, it instantly initiated the launch escape sequence firing all 8 SuperDraco thrusters, separating explosive bolts on the second stage, and took autonomous control of the mission, in less time than any human reaction on the ground or in the capsule could of realized. Falcon, the crew, Dragon, and the ground can all initiate an escape if required. Although this test was uncrewed (meaning nobody was on the rocket during the test), if there was a life threatening emergency that would put the mission at risk, Dragon could leave and get out of the situation immediately.

NEW STARLINK GIGABIT DISHES INCOMING—FASTER THAN FIBER? SpaceX is turning up the heat with its next-gen Starlink gigabit connection gear! New dishes are in the works: * 2 Gigs, No Wires – New dish pushes speeds up to 2 Gbps. Blink and you’ll miss your download. * Next-Level Mini – A souped-up follow-up to the Starlink Mini is already in the pipeline. * Waiting on Launch – Needs FCC clearance and a Starship boost to get those V3 satellites in orbit. * Fiber, Who? – Tighter beams. Lower lag. Bigger bandwidth. Space-based internet just got real. Expect business users to get first dibs for now—but don’t blink! The future of lightning-fast satellite internet is closing in. 🚨 10,000 STARLINK SATELLITES IN ORBIT - AND NOBODY'S EVEN CLOSE SpaceX crossed 10K satellites last week. For context: the entire world launched around 8,700 total spacecraft in all of history before Starlink started. They're completing Starlink missions every 48 hours now. Just set a California pad turnaround record - 2 days, 10 hours between launches from the same facility. That's industrial-scale space operations, not aerospace. The constellation now blankets the planet with low-latency internet from pole to pole. Amazon's Project Kuiper? Still on the launchpad. OneWeb? Bankrupt and resurrected, now limping along. China's building their own - years behind. SpaceX isn't winning the satellite internet race. They've won it long ago. Everyone else is fighting for scraps. You are looking at the most advanced rocket engine ever built SpaceX’s next-generation Raptor 3 engine is not just an upgrade, it is a complete redesign of what a rocket engine can be Compared to the original Raptor 1, Raptor 3 is expected to deliver nearly 2x more thrust, around 4x lower cost, a much lighter design saving about 42.9 tons per launch, no external heat shield required, and cleaner, simpler, more integrated hardware This is not just an engine upgrade. It is a major step toward making Starship cheaper, lighter, more reusable, and capable of launching at a scale humanity has never seen before The first flight of Starship V3, powered by Raptor 3, is currently targeted for mid-May 2026 SpaceX is building the future of spaceflight in real time
