Target Fixation 🎯 chasing the target that we are trying to avoid hitting !! Biker fault and car driver could avoid it by braking straight!!

Biker: I'll crash into you from my wrong side. Car: No, I'll crash into you from my wrong side.

😂😂😂😂

@josephselvraj The impact of posting thousands of accidents. Everything has become a laughing material now.

@DriveSmart_IN Comedy is a well known coping mechanism.

@DriveSmart_IN Comedy works as a coping mechanism when you are the one in trouble, not when someone else is. Anyways, you guys have fun.

@josephselvraj It’s not that type of comedy which you are imagining!! It’s this type 👇 ,where we are watching our fellow countrymen losing lives for silly mistakes and we cannot do anything to prevent it !!

@_makeanoffer You get it

Never cross diagnolly , whether it is pedestrian or two wheeler, as it increases the crossing distance and as well as the oncoming vehicle driver can fail to judge.

Perfect example of Target 🎯 Fixation over speed. Eyes 👀 focussed on target instead of escape path + foot off the accelerator pedal… usually more often with newer drivers who don’t focus hazards ahead…more often such drivers tailgating as well with blocked vision behind containers/any other vehicle…

Yes,perfect example ✌️

Bang on 🎯

I think the car driver is equally at fault here! Defensive driving is the key, why speed up?! And change track, by the time he hits the bike, he had enough space in his lane!! And what about the breaks?! He forgot they exist!!! @motordave2

Biker fault 🤔

Ya he’s trying to ride like a pedestrian 🤷🏻♂️

hmm, I would blame the car, speeding, went into opposite lane and rammed him...

@DriveSmart_IN He tried to Evade the Ahole Imbecile Boomer Biker Coming from the Wrong side of the Road but the Imbecile kept going thus he hit him.

@DriveSmart_IN All the car driver had to do was slow down/apply brakes, so the imbecile is the car driver.

@PravinDaz @DriveSmart_IN Ah.. yes.. there is always a guy saying the car could apply brake. Bruh.. the motorcycle could wait 5 secs n drive. The car is coming in a straight lane... he has the right of way. He changed lane trying to avoid hitting the stupid biker.

@PravinDaz @DriveSmart_IN Right of way is only in the vicinity, car was far away when biker started crossing, when the biker is already crossing, car need to apply brakes

❌NEVER SWERVE❌ Another classic example of why swerving should be avoided Always hit brakes and stay in line. If u cant avoid the accident by braking, u were not following safe practices

Car driver actually tried to evade him. And I feel the car driver is at fault here for not staying in his lane. When things go confused he should’ve slowed down and still remained in his lane. Driver tried to behave like an expert.

In the air force we had posters warning us about the closing distance. Two vehicles approaching at 50 km/h each will collide with the force of 100 km/h.

Correct example of target fixation. Seems like the car driver was not paying enough attention on the road too, doubt that he even tried to brake. Nothing to say about the 2 wheeler, this will be the norm in rural area, drive on the opposite side, diagonally or wherever you like but when luck runs out this is bound to happen.

Looks like car driver didn't anticipate the biker will cross, it could have been easily avoided

Even if the bike would have put the indicator still the car would have hit him. Typical Indian mentality of how can he cross me first, I will get first. The car just changed its lane when it saw the bike crossing. What if there was another vehicle at the opposite side

Again, Tamil Nadu. Both the two-wheeler and the car were at fault. The bike rider showed the classic TN special, zero situational awareness. The car driver proved he’s a complete numbskull with terrible obstacle-avoidance reflexes, and on top of that he didn’t even bother to slow down at the zebra crossing. Folks who drive to Pondy from Bengaluru will experience this same behaviour numerous times on that route. ⚠️

That biker asked for it, he deserved it for his stupidity

See . don't blame car driver here, why create such panic on middle of road for who is going straight with some spped

Perfect Target Fixation example

People saying bikers fault yes it is but look at the zebra crossing lines the car driver also at fault for not reducing car speed and also in panic he changed his lane, a distracted driver or doesn't want to slow down the car!

@UlloorBabu Demo of how missiles work

Car had a year to slow down

when death calls you , you behave such a way

Looks genuine panic and brain fog in the car.

Why didn't any of them tried brakes.

Again, if you've driven in countries with well defined laws and traffic rules, you'll know that Govt authorities are at fault here 1. Zebra cross on a highway without signal 2. No soft signs to slow down 50-100 mts away 3. License issuance without training and exams

On top of it, it looks like a one way and there are other bikers driving the worng way.

Two wheelers know when something happens it is their life at risk. Still, they recklessly drive without any concern for their safety. I have seen it many times, two wheelers don’t even check if there are any vehicles coming on both sides before crossing.

In rural areas people have no perception of speed.. they drive around like it's their own property.. also car driver is overspeeding

Biker fault 99.9%

Without dono side observe kiye nikle ja Raha tha

Instead of break, that BC used accelerator

The answer invariably is the 'Right of Way'.

Totally unnecessary and could’ve been avoided. These bikers have so much of ego. The ones who live to see the next sunrise does so by the grace of some four wheel drivers.

How fast did the bike rider disappear Who noticed it also?

Old thread on Target 🎯 Fixation!

Apparently car driver thought bike will swerve back towards safety.
