@DavidMoss I drove 3200mi in 4 days from Maine to SLO, CA, recently. Zero disengagements; but, my Cybertruck would stop ~6" short of the charger pedestals. On a V4, no problem, but the others, I'd have to back up a little more. No disengagement, but 6" of manual driving every time.

What's important here is that no other tech on the planet can do this. Not waymo, not Nvidia, no Chinese self driving company. Not zoox. None of them. David didn't stop at one cross country trip. He did it 3 times and one time he drove all the way down the way west coast before heading back to the east coast. That's coast to coast to down the coast to coast. About 12,000 miles straight of not touching a single control. This ability to go anywhere you want to go is why tesla will scale 100x faster than any competitor trying to role out robotaxi services.

@DavidMoss Guess FSD really is different on the 3 than the truck. Still skeptical on the parking spot jobs and some of the other things it did on the drive where it probably should have been disengaged. If it were me in the Cybertruck there would have been multiple disengagements.

Breaking: The first official FSD supervised Shuttle Service accompanied and supported by the 🇩🇪 German authorities has started! Its the first officially by a Transportation Ministry, the community and Tesla started Pilot Project using FSD supervised in 🇪🇺 Europe. In the German Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm an autonomous Tesla FSD supervised shuttle service has been launched, accompanied by the Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Economic Affairs and Transport and the local authorities. "Reliable and flexible mobility is especially vital in rural areas. With the launch of a shuttle service using self-driving vehicles (FSD supervised) by Tesla in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm, an innovative pilot project is now getting underway that complements local community bus services. It is the first project of its kind in Europe. The Ministry for Economic Affairs and Transport of Rhineland-Palatinate accompanied the project from an early stage, with Minister Daniela Schmitt experiencing the technology first-hand. All parties involved – municipalities, approval authorities and the company – worked closely together to make this project possible. The result is a real gain for rural mobility: greater accessibility, more flexibility and tangible benefits for everyday life. A strong signal for innovation, cooperation and future-oriented mobility beyond urban centers." The test drives supervised by the FSD in Europe have now led to positive recognition by transport ministries and municipalities that the system represents added value for citizens, and that is a big win. Authorities are now understanding that autonomous driving with FSD supervised is save and should be supported.
