Tesla has released a new video with David Moss, highlighting his recent cross-country trip on FSD (Supervised) with zero disengagements. "Moss’s Model 3 handled every road sign, turn and Supercharger stop, traveling over 2,700 miles in 2 days and 20 hours. Part of his over 12,000-mile streak of FSD...

@DavidMoss I drove 3200mi in 4 days from Maine to SLO, CA, recently. Zero disengagements; but, my Cybertruck would stop ~6" short of the charger pedestals. On a V4, no problem, but the others, I'd have to back up a little more. No disengagement, but 6" of manual driving every time.

@DavidMoss Tesla FSD is definitely one of the best inventions in human history. 💯🫡

12,000 miles with zero disengagements? At this point David Moss isn't testing FSD — he's just the world's most expensive passenger. 😂 Seriously though, the real question is: who has more trust issues after this trip — the car or David? 🤖👀 Either way, if FSD can survive 2,700 miles of American roads without flinching, it's officially more patient than any human driver stuck behind a slow left-lane camper. 🚗💨

🚨 BREAKING: TESLA DEMONSTRATES FSD (SUPERVISED) CROSS-COUNTRY TRIP WITH ZERO DISENGAGEMENTS Tesla has released a new video featuring David Moss, and it quietly captures something much bigger than just another product update. It tells the story of how close we may be getting to a real shift in how driving itself is experienced. In the video, Moss documents a full cross-country journey in his Model 3 using FSD (Supervised), covering more than 2,700 miles in just 2 days and 20 hours without a single disengagement. That detail stands out immediately. Not a short demo. Not a carefully selected route. A true long-distance trip across highways, cities, interchanges, and charging stops, all handled by the system. Every part of the journey was managed by FSD. Road signs, lane changes, exits, turns, and even navigation into Supercharger stations. These are the kinds of moments where systems typically struggle, where unpredictability appears, where human drivers instinctively take over. But in this case, the system maintained continuity from start to finish. What makes it even more compelling is that this was not an isolated success. The trip is part of a broader 12,000-mile streak of FSD (Supervised) usage by Moss, suggesting that this level of performance is not just possible, but increasingly consistent. That consistency is where the real story lies. Technology does not change the world when it works once. It changes the world when it works repeatedly, reliably, and under pressure. Long-distance driving is one of the hardest tests for any system. Fatigue builds. Conditions change. Traffic patterns shift from predictable highways to chaotic urban streets. Weather, lighting, and road quality introduce constant variation. For a system to handle all of that without disengagement points to something more than incremental improvement. It suggests a system that is learning to operate within the full complexity of real-world environments. At the same time, it is important to remember that this is still FSD (Supervised). The driver remains responsible, attentive, and ready to intervene. But the role of the driver in this context is already changing. It is no longer about constant control, but about oversight. That subtle shift hints at a future where driving becomes less about execution and more about supervision. What Tesla is showing here is not just capability, but direction. A direction where long-distance travel becomes less mentally exhausting, where the burden on the driver is reduced, and where the idea of manually handling every mile begins to feel outdated. Skeptics will rightly point out that one driver’s experience does not define universal performance, and that edge cases still exist. But progress in systems like this is not measured by perfection. It is measured by how quickly the gap between human driving and machine-assisted driving continues to close. This demonstration adds to a growing body of evidence that autonomous systems are no longer theoretical. They are being tested, refined, and pushed into real-world scenarios at scale. And each successful long-distance run, each uninterrupted journey, moves the conversation forward. What we are watching is not just a road trip. It is a glimpse into a transition. One where the act of driving, something that has remained largely unchanged for decades, begins to evolve into something fundamentally different. And if these results continue to scale, that evolution may come faster than most people expect.

What's important here is that no other tech on the planet can do this. Not waymo, not Nvidia, no Chinese self driving company. Not zoox. None of them. David didn't stop at one cross country trip. He did it 3 times and one time he drove all the way down the way west coast before heading back to the east coast. That's coast to coast to down the coast to coast. About 12,000 miles straight of not touching a single control. This ability to go anywhere you want to go is why tesla will scale 100x faster than any competitor trying to role out robotaxi services.

@DavidMoss From the Tesla Diner to the Atlantic Ocean with zero interventions. The 'Ghost in the Machine' is real, and it’s a better driver than all of us.🔥

@DavidMoss Guess FSD really is different on the 3 than the truck. Still skeptical on the parking spot jobs and some of the other things it did on the drive where it probably should have been disengaged. If it were me in the Cybertruck there would have been multiple disengagements.

@DavidMoss I know so many people that say they would be terrified to have a car drive for them. Things like this will break preconceived ideas. Tesla needs more of this reported.

@DavidMoss The meaningful shift is that long-haul demos are becoming boring in the good way. Next milestone is standardized trip reporting by road mix, weather, night %, and driver nudges so progress is comparable across versions.

Breaking: The first official FSD supervised Shuttle Service accompanied and supported by the 🇩🇪 German authorities has started! Its the first officially by a Transportation Ministry, the community and Tesla started Pilot Project using FSD supervised in 🇪🇺 Europe. In the German Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm an autonomous Tesla FSD supervised shuttle service has been launched, accompanied by the Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Economic Affairs and Transport and the local authorities. "Reliable and flexible mobility is especially vital in rural areas. With the launch of a shuttle service using self-driving vehicles (FSD supervised) by Tesla in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm, an innovative pilot project is now getting underway that complements local community bus services. It is the first project of its kind in Europe. The Ministry for Economic Affairs and Transport of Rhineland-Palatinate accompanied the project from an early stage, with Minister Daniela Schmitt experiencing the technology first-hand. All parties involved – municipalities, approval authorities and the company – worked closely together to make this project possible. The result is a real gain for rural mobility: greater accessibility, more flexibility and tangible benefits for everyday life. A strong signal for innovation, cooperation and future-oriented mobility beyond urban centers." The test drives supervised by the FSD in Europe have now led to positive recognition by transport ministries and municipalities that the system represents added value for citizens, and that is a big win. Authorities are now understanding that autonomous driving with FSD supervised is save and should be supported.
