Two police cars came up behind me tonight with flashing lights and sirens while I was using Tesla’s FSD (Supervised) V14.1 in my Model Y, and FSD pulled to the side of the road until they passed and it was safe to continue. Pretty cool.

BREAKING: 박주민, a member of the Korean parliament, test-drive a supervised (FSD) in Seoul today with support from Tesla Korea. This information was released through a YouTube live broadcast by lawmaker Park Joo-min. This is very good news because I feel that Tesla is very interested in expanding the FSD base in Korea and is working on it. In addition, more important details have been revealed, with about 3,000 active FSD vehicles currently in South Korea, and statistically, more than 90% of driving is reportedly handled by FSD. 🇰🇷 And zero accidents have occurred due to FSD. It is very good to hear that a Korean lawmaker is interested in FSD. Tesla FSD will further increase the safety of public roads.

Safety critical systems are NOT easy to deploy to the masses. Don't underestimate the importance of this core Tesla capability.

This traffic circle has been a long-standing pain point for me on FSD. As you can see, the car consistently drives in the bike lane here. I’ve documented this behavior before on FSD 12, 13, and now 14. The issue appears to stem from outdated map data. This section of the circle used to function as a two-way roadway. At the time, there was no bike lane and vehicles traveled in the space FSD still prefers today. Since the redesign, that area is now a dedicated bike lane, but FSD doesn’t reliably recognize the change. Depending on the version, it will occasionally handle this correctly, but most of the time it does not. This is currently the only issue I consistently experience with FSD. It’s not safety critical. The car will move if a cyclist, vehicle, or object is present, but reliance on outdated map data in locations like this needs to improve.

Nothing But Nets: Tesla FSD v13.2.9 Aces 520-mile Trip Without Interventions On Thursday, I completed my return drive from Des Moines to Minneapolis, with FSD Supervised v13.2.9 flawlessly handling the 260-mile journey without any issues or interventions. Both legs of the trip totaled 520 miles, all driven autonomously by Supervised FSD. I could fly this route, but using FSD is a no-brainer. FSD slams on the brakes for a cat in the road that doesn’t even exist. This is FSD 12.6.4 on HW3, which is a lot more sensitive to shadows & objects in the road with the 2026.8.6 update. There are many reports of brake stabbing. It brings me back to the days when I was testing with v10.3 of FSD back in 2021. It’s interesting that it’s the same FSD version as before, and not something like 12.6.4.1, but I guess Tesla can change the weights without changing the version. And they’ve likely been doing this for a while with 12.6.4. 😒
