The golden era of transportation got very literal. Tesla’s gold Cybercab is now carrying paying passengers in Austin, with no steering wheel, no pedals and no human driver sitting there as backup. That’s what makes this two-seater such a big deal. It wasn’t converted into a Robotaxi. It was built from the start for one job: driving people around by itself. Even the gold is doing some work. All wrapped around a 47.6 kWh battery that can deliver over 6.1 miles per kWh. Less weight, less drag and fewer unnecessary parts. Now the redesigned 2026 Semi is already in production and out there, with aerodynamic and weight improvements built in.
