The Starlink V3 communication satellite is an incredibly complex machine. The video shows an emergency SOS pager that sends your geolocation so you can be evacuated from a zombie apocalypse when there is no mobile coverage. NTN (Non-Terrestrial Network) is a 3GPP standard in the LTE/5G family. It uses a regular SIM card and is supported by many modern smartphones and smartwatches. NTN is extremely slow and is billed per byte (!), but this is okay when you need to send tiny amounts of data: telemetry or short messages like “I’m alive, heart rate 80 bpm.” In this demo, we use a Blues Blues NOTE-NGBLWX module that connects to a geostationary satellite on the Skylo Skylo network and transmits data to a Blues NoteHub server. We’re planning to develop a Flipper One IoT module that can serve as a backup communication channel for outdoor use or as an emergency gateway for alarm and monitoring IoT systems.

The connection is not yet continuous, but Russia is building a sovereign communications channel that no foreign company can switch off. 🔸 Russian company Bureau 1440 launched the first 16 satellites of the operational constellation on March 23. The spacecraft were placed on an initial orbit before beginning their movement toward working altitude. 🔸 A second package was launched on July 19. Bureau 1440 did not publicly disclose its size, but orbital tracking identified another 16 satellites, bringing the likely total from the two 2026 launches to 32. 🔸 The current network is believed to offer around two hours of strong coverage over Ukraine per day. BREAKING: $AMPG CEO CONFIRMS $AMZN, CPI & VIASAT AS SATCOM CUSTOMERS! Well, it seems that my speculative post was 100% correct and this was confirmed by the CEO Fawad himself. This is first time I've seen Amazon named by the CEO in the satcom context. CEO Fawad Maqbool was asked where AmpliTech sits in satellite, named Viasat, Amazon and CPI as ground-station customers and said they supply "pretty much all the high-end ones." To understand why this is so bullish, please read the quoted tweet where I broke down why I think Amazon will be significant customer for $AMPG in future. Amazon Leo/Kuiper needs a massive ground segment. Every antenna farm talking to those satellites needs the lowest possible noise figure on the front end, because everything is digital data now. Maqbool claims AmpliTech has the lowest noise figures in the industry. That is a pick-and-shovel position in the LEO buildout. You do not need to know which constellation wins. They all need ground stations.
