[New Xbox Controller Review] #ad Special thanks to Qrdgame_offcial for supplying me with a review unit of their Ferrox M5 Xbox & PC Controller QRD Ferrox M5 The QRD Ferrox M5 is a Wireless Xbox Oneโ€“style gamepad with a transparent design. Since it targets Xbox One natively, it works automatically on PC and Xbox Series S/X. The included 2.4Ghz USB Dongle also supports Switch and Android with the right adapter (USB C), but I was not able to test those in time for this review. A Wireless Xbox Controller The QRD FERROX M5 comes in a familiar Xbox layout with Hall Effect joysticks, RGB rings around the sticks, and a magnetic & detachable clear shell that shows the internals. The controller feels very similar to a standard Xbox pad in terms of shape and size, but itโ€™s slightly lighter at compared to the usual Xbox controller weight. The lighter weight makes it easier to hold for longer sessions without hand fatigue. The D-Pad is surprisingly good at dialing special moves feels as solid and responsive as the official Xbox controller, and thatโ€™s impressive at a lower price point. I spent a few days trying out the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection exclusively using this controller and I did not notice any difference at all. Capabilities From what Iโ€™ve tested, the controller performs extremely well for action games, fighting games, and shooters. The Hall Effect joysticks offer smooth movement and precise control with no drift issues. The D-Pad uses micro switches, so every input is tactile and accurate. The back triggers support an adaptive โ€œtrigger stopโ€ mode, which shortens the travel distance for faster reaction time in FPS games or quicker blocks in Fighting Games. You also get 4 back macro buttons, turbo mode, and adjustable joystick sensitivity with deadzone options. Vibration strength and RGB lighting modes are also customizable. What can it do The FERROX M5 includes an 800mAh battery that lasts around 8 hours of gameplay. It only uses the 2.4Ghz wireless connection, not Bluetooth, so it always requires the included USB Dongle. The good thing is once you sync it with your Xbox or PC, you donโ€™t need to sync it againโ€”it carries over between both devices automatically. The 2.4G connection is stable and low latency, and the controller has a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio and mic support. It also features a quick calibration system to keep sticks and triggers accurate over time. The overall grip and shape feel close to the official Xbox controller, comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the transparent shell gives it a distinct look. Areas of improvement I initially had trouble charging the controller while playing because connecting it to the Xbox via USB would disable all inputs, making it unusable in wired mode. But luckily QRD Support helped and provided me with an updat - I had to connect it to a PC, download the firmware tool from QRDโ€™s website, and update the controller manually. After installing the new firmware, the controller can now charge while being used normally on Xbox, so the issue is fully resolved. The Xbox button also behaves differently on Xbox, where the single press acts like hold and the hold acts like single press; this issue doesnโ€™t appear on PC. Syncing with the dongle took a few attempts on both Xbox and PC, but once paired, it never needed syncing again. The wireless mode is strictly 2.4G with no Bluetooth support, so it cannot connect without the dongle, though the benefit is that one pairing works across both Xbox and PC. Final Summary โœ… Hall Effect Joystick โœ… Lights in the dark โœ… Good D-Pad for input dialing โœ… Light Controller โŒ First sync can be annoying on PC โŒ No bluetooth for phone usage - Dongle is necessary โŒ Needs an update for the Xbox Wired issues which require a PC The Controller is available on Amazon for $59.99, and will be part of the Black Friday Deals on their official website for even more discount! I have never played an FPS on a controller in my life. Literally not 1 hour. Only thing I played on controller is adventure single player games and FIFA. After a horrible 2 days of XDefiant Ranked without Input Based Matchmaking (the best thing about XDefiant pubs) I took an Xbox controller and plugged it in to try in 3 TDM games. I had to see how this thing works. There's no way it sticks this F'n hard LMAO. Like I don't even know a good grip for controller, I play on default button layout and no paddles, don't know any tricks etc. There's no way I should be able to go positive KD yet I do. I can't imagine how easy it is for an even little experienced controller player against MnK. And people said AA isn't strong in this game, I can only imagine how bad it is in COD. Mark Rubin PATTYP we don't want AA nerfed, if controller players like it this hard, let them have it. However we NEED input based matchmaking for ranked. Some of us really don't care to stick to pubs, we need ranked. And against this there's no comp integrity. There's 2 clips in here where I accidentally killed another guy after the one I was aiming at because AA gifted me a snap to him. There's 2 clips of some poor mnk cleaner and an mnk echelon in THEIR ULTS losing to my AA. The only fitting song for this clip: WTF. This game is great, it's my favorite shooter in years, but this one thing is enough to alienate everything good about it. IBMM FOR RANKED PLEASE XDefiant

imagine you're climbing towards Challenger. Challenger is your goal. you climb... 30% 50% 70% you see challenger. It's right there and then? you turn around and climb back down to where you came from back to hardstuck mentality. back to playing scared. back to comfort zone back to familiar misery most people secretly do this every single time here's exactly why: 1. YOUR SYSTEM IS WIRED FOR HOMEOSTASIS your subconscious always pulls you toward what feels familiar, not what's best. even if familiar is WORSE, it feels safer because it's known. this is why people stay stuck in: low elo same playstyle same mental patterns same mechanics, habits, decision making your subconscious would rather choose misery that's familiar than success that's unfamiliar. 2. WHEN YOU PUT CHALLENGER ON A PEDESTAL, YOU CREATE DISTANCE The more serious and โ€œimportantโ€ something feels, the more tension and pressure you create around it. the more you WANT it, the more you repel it. "i NEED to hit Challenger" "i HAVE to get out of this elo" "this is so IMPORTANT to me" that desperation creates tension. and tension pushes the goal away. 3. AT 70%, THE TENSION SPIKES you're almost there. but your subconscious feels the unfamiliarity and drags you back. back to comfort. back to identity. back to what you've always known. this is why people sabotage the last 30%. not because they're weak. because they're still attached to the familiar version of themselves. the hardstuck player. the Gold mentality. the scared grinding. HERE'S THE SOLUTION: REMOVE THE PEDESTAL stop WANTING Challenger. stop GRASPING for it. switch to CHOOSING it. "i choose to climb" "i'm good either way" "this is just a number" when you treat your goal like it's NORMAL, you dissolve the tension. everything in your life right now feels normal. your rank. your MMR. your LP gains. why? because it's "no big deal" to you. your future reality must feel the same way โ€” light. normal. effortless. THE SECRET: IDENTITY DISSOLVES TENSION "Identity absorbs skills faster than repitition ever will" Start identifying yourself as a challenger player Follow up your gameplay with intentional decisions Create systems to follow in micro and macro scenarios suddenly the whole grind becomes smoother. easier. faster. this is the formula. when you operate from this place, you become a magnet for Challenger. instead of someone constantly climbing back to low elo here's the brutal truth: you're not hardstuck because you lack skill. you're hardstuck because you're ATTACHED to being hardstuck. your identity is "the grinder." "the one trying." "the one desperate." and your subconscious protects that identity at all costs. the moment you stop NEEDING Challenger and start BEING Challenger the moment you treat the climb like "this is already mine"? the moment your identity shifts from "trying to reach Challenger" to "i AM Challenger"? that's when the sabotage stops. that's when you stop climbing back down at 70%. that's when you finally reach Challenger. study the saskio way

HOW TO DRIFT IN FORZA HORIZON 6 ON CONTROLLER FOR BEGINNERS! Disclaimer, Iโ€™m not exactly Drift King, some people make me look like Donkey Kong. I do it well enough for people who are completely new to drifting to ask me how I do it, so Iโ€™m going to explain how I do it, as someone who is โ€œdecentโ€ at best at it. First of all, youโ€™re going to want to change your transmission to Manual so that you can maintain a consistent drift, as the speed of your vehicle determines the angle of your drift, and with Automatic, you canโ€™t control your speed. It doesnโ€™t matter, just personal preference here, you can do your gear changes with the buttons, but if you own an Elite Controller, you can put the paddles to good use here. I like to equip only two paddles, preferably the larger ones, and map the left to X (Downshift) and map the right to B (Upshift). You also want to turn off your Traction and Stability control assists to allow your car to slide. My vehicle of preference is the Silvia Spec R, and the code for the tune I use is 146 936 201. I am using a RWD Vehicle for reference, but some people prefer AWD. For the most part, youโ€™re going to be driving in third and fourth gear. Third gear is great for small roads and tight, closed corners where you need a sharper drift, and fourth gear is great for wide roads and corners because the extra speed is going to throw your car further forwards and make your drift angle more shallow. Itโ€™s important to look at the size of the road and the corner you have to take and judge what gear you need to be in as the speed of your car makes all of the difference. That being said, these are not real cars, if youโ€™re going too fast, I much prefer to hold the gas and brake pedal at the same time whilst taking the drift as opposed to engine braking. It almost makes you float around the corner at a consistent speed and gives you more control. If you are on the inside edge of the corner youโ€™re taking, you can hold your foot brake and handbrake at the same time and your car will almost push back a little giving you more space to angle yourself correctly. If this helped you, let me know ๐Ÿฅน
