These citizens got pulled over and ordered to exit their vehicles because they yelled out of their window at police during a traffic stop. Who is in the wrong here?

Here's the synopsis of the case the cop referenced: Pennsylvania v. Mimms, 434 U.S. 106 (1977), is a United States Supreme Court criminal law decision holding that a police officer ordering a person out of a car following a traffic stop and conducting a pat-down to check for weapons did not violate the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution. The cop initiated the traffic stop based on his hurt feelings and not an actual traffic violation or any other law being broken. This is an unjustified and unwarranted traffic stop and should be dismissed. Always ask for a supervisor when confronted by tyrannical moronic people who think they're in charge. This cop is a liability to his department and the community he serves, he needs remedial training and relieved of his duties in patrol.

Spot on brother.

"When Frank Stein grew concerned for his elderly neighbor's safety, he called the police. But nothing prepared him for what was hidden behind her garage door.":

If your skin isn’t thicker than this, you are probably in the wrong line of work.

I agree 100%

I can absolutely drive by his traffic stop and yell whatever I want to.

FACTS

I got pulled over for the samething. 😆 I fought the disturbing the peace ticket i got, in court.. it was dismissed

They should have never issued you that ticket in the first place. unreal.

Unpopular opinion: Mind your business if you don’t know the situation. Let them do their jobs. Intentionally agitating a scene for “fun” is dangerous for everyone. Commenters dragging the officer are the same ones shouting “back the blue” from the rooftops and their profiles 🙄

I think this cop is going to far. Need a thicker skin to be a cop for sure!

What I wonder is if he was yelling to 'leave the boy alone' as he was driving, did the officer just leave the traffic stop and go chase this guy down? or did he finish the traffic stop then go search for the guy who yelled?
