When Cybercab becomes available, people are going to do the mental math very quickly. Around $30K for a car that can drive itself, charge wirelessly, cost very little per mile, and skip most of the normal car-owner headaches. Then it gets more interesting. Sleep on the way. Work on the way. Send it on errands. Let it pick someone up. Let it earn when you are not using it. For elderly people, disabled passengers, busy families, and anyone tired of parking, Cybercab starts making a ridiculous amount of sense. Everyone will want one eventually. Tesla is engineering safety right into the Cybercab! A Tesla employee in a production Cybercab simulated a drop-off and pick-up near downtown Austin. He exited from the passenger door, re-entered from the passenger door, and slid over to the driver’s side. The Cybercab’s seats have no middle obstruction, which allows an easy slide across to either side. This makes it safer to exit while avoiding oncoming traffic. The Cybercab can also park very close to the curb and open its butterfly doors upward to avoid scrapping or hitting the curb. The 1st Tesla Cybercab at the Giga Texas crash testing facility. Hard to say for sure, but this may indicate the vehicle has completed most of the final engineering & production tests out at Fremont and what remains is now at Giga Texas. If this follows how the Cybertruck proceeded, we are likely a month or two before we will see initial test runs of what will be the production version. This matches up with all the equipment deliveries and installation inside the factory that we have been monitoring over the past few months. Cybercab is getting close to existing IRL!

Most people look at the back wall of the Tesla Cybercab’s trunk and probably just see black plastic. Those vertical slotted panels are HVAC pressure-relief / cabin airflow exhaust vents which allow cabin air to escape so: 1/ The doors and powered rear hatch close smoothly without pressure buildup 2/ The HVAC system has a proper exhaust path for pressure equalization and air circulation The rest is a rugged molded cargo liner with structural ribs, replacing carpet bc Cybercab is designed for millions of real-world robotaxi trips where durability and easy cleaning matter. There’s even a trunk camera to detect items passengers leave behind. This is what I love about Tesla… Even the parts most people never notice are engineered with a purpose. And the attention to detail is next level.

Tesla took Cybercab to the National Federation of the Blind’s convention. Honestly, probably the best place in the world to show off a driverless car. These are the people who could gain real independence from it. Braille controls. Room for service animals. Space for assistive devices. Seats at a better height for wheelchair transfers. Again… don’t be a dumbass and do stupid shit like this fool just for clicks and attention. Josh West intentionally grabbed and pulled on the steering wheel of a Tesla Robotaxi during a ride to see what would happen. He did it multiple times from the backseat. The Robotaxi responded by braking, giving safety alerts, and contacting support. He also unbuckled his seatbelt while the vehicle was moving and, after the ride, put one of his own stickers on the Robotaxi. The Tesla team reviewed the trip, cited safety violations and property damage, and suspended his Robotaxi access. Then he turned around and made a video titled “I Got BANNED From The Tesla Robotaxi Network… So You Don’t Have To!” No… You didn’t do this “so we don’t have to.” Nobody needed you to grab the steering wheel of an unsupervised Robotaxi. Nobody needed you to intentionally trigger its safety systems. Nobody needed you to put your sticker on a vehicle that doesn’t belong to you. You did it for content. And this is exactly the kind of stupid shit that pisses me, many investors, and many hardworking employees on the Tesla team off. The Tesla team has spent YEARS working their asses off to make unsupervised Robotaxis a reality. Engineers have dedicated countless hours to building, testing, and improving this technology while Tesla fights through regulatory scrutiny and proves the system can safely scale. Then a fool gets access and intentionally fucks with the vehicle for a YouTube video. Think about how selfish that is. Millions of people are waiting for this technology to expand. Tesla employees have spent years of their lives working to get it this far. The last thing the program needs is some attention seeker intentionally creating safety incidents for clicks. If you’re lucky enough to get access to a Tesla Robotaxi, respect the fucking technology, respect the vehicle, and respect the people who spent years building it. Sit down and buckle up. My kids broke the charge port on the Model-Y while playing 🏈 last week and followed up with Tesla to get quote to replace the charge port door. Unfortunately, Tesla could not replace the access door by itself and quoted me $275 to replace the entire assembly. I looked online and saw that I could replace the door for less than $10… so I did it in 20 seconds…

The market and short-term minded investors seem to be obsessing over one quarter, while I’m looking at where this company is going over the next 5-10 years. Bro… this is what I see: • Deliveries are up +25% YoY to a RECORD second quarter. • Revenue is up +26% YoY to $28.2B, pushing Tesla above $100B in trailing 12-month revenue for the FIRST TIME EVER. • FSD subscriptions up +56% YoY to 1.48 million, with a record 55%+ attach rate on new North American Tesla deliveries. • Energy storage deployments up 41% YoY, with Megapack demand continuing to grow. • Services revenue up 50% YoY, becoming a larger, higher-margin part of the Tesla’s business. • Robotaxis are now operating across seven major metros, with Cybercab production officially underway. • Optimus production lines are being installed this year. • And despite investing more aggressively than ever, Tesla still finished the quarter with $43.5 billion in cash. Sure, margins were under pressure. And yes, free cash flow was negative. But this is bc Tesla is spending $ billions building AI infrastructure, expanding factories, ramping Cybercab, Optimus, batteries, and compute. The Tesla team is investing to build and be the leader for the next decade. Always remember, the biggest returns rarely come from buying when everything feels safe… they come from buying when everyone seems to be shitting their pants, while the fundamentals remain intact. Am I missing something here, or is this like the greatest thing that has ever happened in transportation? Also FSD is still only $8,000? Let me get the facts straight: 1/ I will be able to put my Teslas in or out the Tesla Robotaxi network 2/ Each Tesla Robotaxi in the network will be able to generate $30K-$50K profit per year picking and dropping people off 24/7 (except when having to charge) 3/ So if I own ~25 Teslas and put them in the network, I’ll be able to generate ~$1M in passive income per year
