I'm having a bit of hard time understanding the point of Eevee on anything more complex because of the time it takes to compile a shader after you change anything.

Testing Electromag Nodes on Apple M4 mac mini, very impressed with its performance in handling a complex scene like this. The magnetic field calculations are updated in realtime with no lag in EEVEE with a compositor node setup. No Three.js. No fake web-based depth-of-field or focal-length emulation. Customize in web, render in Blender. While everyone is vibe-coding apps for flat pattern generators, or at most Three.js-based 3D scenes, we’re already one step ahead. We built an app that lets you use a web UI to control an actual Blender 3D render. Eevee engine is used for streaming quick previews back into the app, while Cycles renders the final image for better material quality and lighting. So simple to use that you can even give it to your client. Of course, built with Toolcraft.

VERY COOL!! Thanks jordan for the tip, I can now test my iOS app on web I asked Claude Code to set up serve-sim, a web-based iOS simulator that can stream the iOS app my Claude Code on VPS built live to me, because it's on some Mac Mini in the cloud without even a GUI (it's headless) I cannot actually try it on the Mac itself! Before Claude would make me a page with screenshots but I had no idea how the app felt, now with this it works This is hosted on the Mac Mini via SSH (it shows localhost but it's a tunnel via SSH to the Mac Mini), bit laggy but nice!

A quick update on this project Since I shared this, it has evolved into a complete Blender add-on and is now 99% finished. It now includes cel shading, anime outlines, compositing tools, and workflow modifiers for both Eevee and Cycles. I've also updated the product page with the latest preview and test files. Mac Mini is super nice because you can use native iMessage for talking with OpenClaw. The only problem is that it's very expensive and you need to always have your Mac Mini on to run this setup. So I made a plugin to allow anyone on any computer (either Linux, Windows, or Mac) to be able to have access to iMessage natively. Even better, it has access to all of the reactions, triple dot indicator, etc. Check it out and let me know what you think.
