Happy #Blocktober! Wanted to close the month out with my fav moment from Jotunheim! I got the amazing chance to work on so many little narrative moments across the game in #GodOfWarRagnarok. Lets look at the Firefly moment today! This moment was really close to our hearts on development so I wanted to make sure we get this one out for everyone that worked on it. chloe lister Justin Stanton and Kevin Huynh did a lot of the heavy lifting here, I was proud to be part of the awesome team to realize the firefly moment There could never be enough fireflies!

Happy #Blocktober! Will be posting some gameplay and systems design from #GodOfWarRagnarok here! I got the amazing chance to work on so many little narrative moments across the game in #GodOfWarRagnarok. Lets look at the Train Align minigame moment today! James , while working on the level wanted to invoke the feeling of someone spotting you when parallel parking (lol) and so we did! We had to make sure the player always had the choice to agree/disagree with Atreus’ directions, while still maintaining a max time for the minigame. This led us to design it so the train actually started and ended in the same location 😉 in order to guarantee the number of moves the player could do (hence the camera angle). While this limited the steps, we still had to have unique game states for each time you visited those alignment locations. Can’t end this post without calling out the months and months of back and forth and amazing animation and tech help from Avery Adams to accomplish so many interdependent syncs!

Over the past 24hours art made a statement. Yes I did not mint out. Yes the floor price dropped. Yes the market nuked. And yet here is a group of people celebrating art. And that to me means the world. I've spend so much time on these details, working tirelessly for days on end for even the smallest things. People do not realise how much more effort it takes to bring something to life. But if you want to try animate a ball falling on 12 sheets of paper. And you get the idea. My point is that, "technically speaking" Midnight夏季Breeze is a failure. It did not equate to the success formula this space wants to see. It did not build the same amount of hype some other projects do with a 100th of the effort for 1 asset. But, it did touch people's heart. And it is being celebrated. Its exactly going as I wanted it to go. And that to me. Is success. So to everyone thank you for sharing your breezes. Please keep doing so. I love reading everything. Even though my airport wifi sucks. I'm so so so happy to see it finally out here. In your hands. Much luv Dutchtide

Farewell to International Space Station! This is truly a special place, special mission, and special team that makes it happen. It is a bittersweet departure today – I have a keen awareness that I may never be back here, and even if I was, it would be at a different time with a different crew. This chapter is over. Spaceflight has always been a life goal, and it has turned into a life-fulfilling endeavor – but not for the reasons I thought growing up. When I was young, I pictured the launch, the incredible ball of fire and the acceleration, the spacewalks (how could you not wonder what it’s like to be in that suit?), and I was fascinated by the shuttles, capsules, and stations. But as I complete this second mission living and working in space, what draws me to this job is the people. Experiences like this are amazing, but the relationships we build that make it possible are the “why.” Every day, this mission depends on people from all over the world, of different nationalities, races, religions, and cultures. It depends on government and commercial entities, it depends on all political parties, and it depends on commitment to an unchanged goal over many years and decades. It depends on people dedicated to being part of something bigger than themselves, whose names may never be known but who wake up every day to make the world a better place and to be part of something they will be proud to tell their grandkids about. History will look kindly upon them. Humans have always had a propensity to explore … across lands and oceans, up mountains, and into the sky. We as a species will never stop wondering what else is out there, and what it would be like to go. But then, in the words of TS Elliot, “…at the end of all our exploring, will be to arrive where we started, and know the place for the first time.” Crew-10 is on its way home.

Today, all members of our negotiating team will already be in Ukraine, and I have scheduled a special meeting with them for tomorrow regarding our next steps and decisions. They will deliver a report on those aspects of the negotiations that should not be discussed over the phone. We will also define the further framework of our dialogue with the American side, with the Europeans, and with the Russian side. It is important that the Europeans were present in Switzerland. This is exactly how we intend to work going forward – to ensure that Europe’s positions are taken into account.

It was such an honor to help design this “Snap” coin that flew alongside four crew coins on the Polaris Dawn mission and an even greater honor to see it fly to space. Thank you to our artist friend Erin Bonilla for beautifully turning this idea into reality. I was so blown away when the crew graciously offered this opportunity - thank you - I can’t wait to put the flown coin on display and will cherish it forever. Some insight on the design: The seven stars represent the seven astronauts I have been lucky to befriend from Inspiration4 to Polaris Dawn: Jared, Sian, Hayley, Chris, Kidd, Sarah, and Anna. My silhouette is seen capturing a Falcon 9 rising in front of sunrise, based off one of my all-time favorite photos, but with the fairing swapped out for a Dragon. Other elements include palm trees and birds representing my appreciation for the local Florida nature around the Cape. In the video you can see the flown coin floating in space. Earlier in the mission it reached new heights in Earth orbit during a crewed mission and then was exposed to the vacuum of space during the mission’s spacewalk. The still image is another unit, not flown, captured a few months ago when I saw the coin in-person for the first time. I have kept it on my person for much of the last few months as a good luck token and reminder of the exciting space program whose stories I am lucky to help share. I had it with me all throughout launch day and on the VAB roof during liftoff, knowing that a copy - and a small part of me - was joining the crew in space. Many were made, and one each for the four crew and myself flew - but each coin has a small magnetic insert that pops out. Hundreds of those smaller inserts flew, and we will be able to pop in those small flown parts into the non-flown coins, such that hundreds of coins will have a part that flew. Thanks Jared Isaacman for the video! So cool - forever grateful.

For the first time in any Transformers film, the human lead gets his own suit which he can use to fight the Terrorcons in Transformers Rise of the Beasts. This is of course Noah's Exo-suit. This suit was a lot of fun to work out and design. We tried to maintain a lot of similarities between it and Mirage since that was where the suit was coming from, but of course the pieces couldn't be 1:1 from Mirage. We ended up designing a lot of the pieces from scratch and the pieces that we could take from Mirage were massively modified to work well for the far smaller scale and tighter proportions of Noah. Because I had developed a procedural setup for all of our hero characters texturing and look development, the textures and look development of the suit were directly taken from Mirage and updated by our artists to work well for the suit through manual painting and tweaks. It was crucial that the suit still read as Mirage's body parts and not entirely new random metal parts. We handed the asset to WetaFX for the last sequence and they did an excellent job of integrating it beautifully into the live action footage and bringing the suit to life on Noah.

🔥 This is not your average barbecue. Instead of using a regular grill, this man prepared enough food to feed around 1,000 people using a traditional cooking method. He arranged rows of ribs in a huge circle, surrounded them with firewood, and lit the entire setup. The fire burned slowly through the night, allowing the meat to cook low and slow for hours. By morning, the ribs were so tender they were practically falling apart. Watching this incredible tradition come to life is amazing. The amount of time, effort, and skill that goes into preparing a meal on this scale is truly something special. 🍖🔥

Today, I led an inspection of the Obalende underbridge and motor park area, where the Lagos State Government has issued an immediate quit notice to squatters occupying the space. This is not a sudden action. Notices were issued as far back as 2024, and we are now moving to redesign the area into a clean, safe, and functional public space. The location will be handed over to a private sector partner for redevelopment and long-term maintenance as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. The proposed design includes a motor garage, public toilets, sleeping bays, and electric vehicle charging points. Our objective is to end environmental degradation, remove criminal elements, and ensure that underbridge spaces serve the public in a sustainable way. I also inspected Oja Oba on Lagos Island and the Adeniji–Ilubirin loop as part of our broader effort to put open spaces to proper and productive use across the state. Let me reiterate that our environmental laws on street trading and illegal waste disposal remain fully in force. Lagos must be orderly, safe, and functional for everyone, and we will continue to act firmly and responsibly to achieve this. #CleanerLagos

And during this campaign, I've got to see that firsthand in every single corner of this city region."
