Tom Holland has worked with Christopher Nolan, Ron Howard and James Gray before turning 30. His director list outside Spider-Man has quietly assembled a filmography most young actors would need decades to match. I’m sure he’ll become a top director himself

Christopher Nolan almost says “Far From Home” during a serious answer. He catches himself mid-sentence and turns it into a joke. Nolan: "I was about to say far from home" at 0:38 "immediately stops and laughs" Nolan: "I didn’t want to say that… Just going to say if you see only one Tom Holland film this summer" at 0:48 "Tom Holland start laughing, whole room loses it with laughter and applause" Pure accidental Spider-Man reference from the man himself. Nolan’s timing is unmatched 😂 Save this.

Tom Holland revealed on a recent podcast that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will officially be his last movie in the MCU, turning down a massive $250 million contract extension for another trilogy to focus on his relationship with Zendaya and let Miles Morales take over 😬 "If I’m still playing Spider-Man past 30, I’ve done something wrong. I need to focus on my real life and let Miles Morales take the spotlight”

This Mumbai cafe manager has the most unexpected story At 2:30 PM, three guests came for breakfast and kept waiting outside the cafe. The staff had no idea who they were waiting for. Around 6 PM, Christopher Nolan, Tom Holland and Matt Damon finally arrived. They had chai, bun maska and some light snacks. Within minutes, police, bodyguards and a huge crowd showed up, so they left after just 10-15 minutes. The best part? The manager only Googled them later and said, "Tab pata chala Tom toh Spider-Man wale actor hain." 😭☕ Imagine serving Christopher Nolan, Spider-Man and Jason Bourne... and finding out after they leave! #TheOdyssey

Christopher Nolan on working with Tom Holland for the first time in ‘THE ODYSSEY’: “Tom Holland is an actor whose work I’ve admired for years, and I felt very confident, you know, he could take on this this coming-of-age story. But I have to say, he dazzled me with with his ability. He’s an extraordinary actor, beyond what I even hoped for or imagined. That’s such a thrill as a director when you you have somebody doing something even more than you saw in the character. He’s really a remarkable young actor.”

Tom Holland says there are only a few movie roles that should never be recast. Tom Holland: GOAT superhero? Matt Damon: Oof. Tom Holland: Why are you taking so long to answer this, mate? Matt Damon: I’d have to say Spider-Man. That was the one I used to dress up as all the time as a kid. Matt Damon: There’s been a parade of excellent actors in that role… and then you took it. Tom Holland: And it went to shit. Matt Damon: … Tom Holland: I’m kidding. I would have to agree. Matt Damon: Omari’s going to be really mad at us because we’re not arguing. Tom Holland: We are not arguing at all. Host: Instead of Spider-Man, what else would you pick? Tom Holland: For me, it would have to be Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man. Matt Damon: I was just going to say that because he’s funny, and he looks like a guy you could hang out with. Tom Holland: There are only a few characters where it feels like… just leave them be. Tom Holland: You, Downey, and Hugh Jackman. Tom Holland: No one wants to play Jason Bourne. No one wants to play Iron Man. No one wants to play Wolverine. Tom Holland: I’ve been the third person to play Spider-Man. There’s been lots of Batmans, lots of Supermans… but there are only a few characters where it feels like, just leave them be. Matt Damon: Oh wow. That’s awesome. Thank you very much.

Tom Holland says he already has a clear plan for passing the Spider Man baton to Miles Morales “There’s a whole plan that we’ve been working on since we finished Spider Man: No Way Home.” “It’s laid out, but it’s going to change, for sure.” “I have a really clear vision for the passing on of the baton.” “I get really excited when we have these meetings and chat about it.” “That’s the thing that I want to do most with this character, for sure.”

Tom Holland says he doesn’t want SpiderMan to simply disappear and be rebooted with a new actor (Miles Morales) “I also think we have an opportunity to not do like the Bond thing, where it’s like, ‘There is a Spider-Man, and then there just isn’t a Spider-Man, and then you start again.’” “We’ve had such a beautiful journey with the MCU.” “There’s no reason to tell a story where my Spider-Man, for whatever reason, has to retire and pass the baton onto the next young kid. I think that could be a really cool movie.”

A live action BERSERK would go so hard. Everyone would watch. It has everything: incredible story, heart, action, blood, supernatural, horror, both strong male and female protagonist, most notorious fangirl bait villain ever conceived, etc. The world could handle a true dark fantasy series. But it has to be done right, no edits, no censorship, no changing anything. It has to go all the way. Get the right cinematography, music, actors, director, etc. Put it on HBO with a big budget. No compromises. Normies would have never seen anything like it before. People would be shocked. It would become an iconic show. It would fill the GoT void.

“My wife is in the film… so that helps.” Tom Holland just dropped the most wholesome flex of the night. While talking about the physical cost of being Spider-Man, falling from wires at 18 and bouncing back, vs. needing a full stretch routine now. Seth mentions his own wife has zero patience for Spider-Man content. Tom’s reply is instant: “Yeah, my wife is in the film. Yeah, so that helps.” Tom Holland just casually dropped “my wife” on national television talking about Zendaya being in the new Spider-Man movie. From there he gets real. No Way Home felt like the perfect send-off with Tobey and Andrew. Coming back meant the responsibility to the fans got heavier, so he went deep into podcasts and online complaints to make sure they got exactly what they wanted. And the Jon Bernthal story? They’ve been friends since Tom was 17. Jon did his Spider-Man audition tape and forced him to stop being modest: “You gotta do the flip, bro.” This is Tom at his most honest and charming.

Clint Howard sets the record straight on Ron Howard blaming himself for his past addiction "Well, that's a nice thought, but I kind of call bullshit on that. What's a big brother gonna do?" "What's a big brother gonna do? What's a guy... I mean, I love Ron. I kind of knew what he was thinking" "Ron and I went to a Super Bowl, Super Bowl 14. It was the Steelers and the Rams at the Rose Bowl, and he gave me the speech" "He had been around a lot of young actors that get loaded or high or whatever... He goes, 'You know, it's one thing when you use drugs, but it's another thing when drugs start using you'" "The one problem with Ron is his talks were a little cliché. But if he would have played it different, I may have fully rejected it" "Ron is a Hall of Fame movie director. He's a better big brother. He still is a better big brother"

Tom Holland on his experience working with Christopher Nolan: “I had this one scene with Matt, which is arguably one of my most important scenes in the film [...] Matt and I were discussing the scene a lot, and he basically stuck his head in and went, ‘Oi, thespians, get on with it! I’m going to be on the dog.’ He just totally was like: stop thinking about it, just do it.” “I saw him do it on a few occasions with a few different actors where he just completely undercut the tension with humor and it allowed a certain freedom in the following take.”

In an interview, Dana Andrews described how Otto Preminger gave some actors a hard time if he felt they were not up to the task, suggesting that it was not the role of the director to teach an actor how to act. But recognizing the fiery nature of the director, he further commented, “He will go into these tirades and I’m sure that he has bawled out very competent actors.” Preminger later claimed that Andrews, contrary to the actor’s belief, was one of his favourite actors to work with. ("Dana Andrews: The Face of Noir", James McKay, 2010) P.S: On this day, 76 years ago, "Where the Sidewalk Ends" (1950) had its limited released in the USA.

“Paper Tiger” director James Gray says it’s a “very weird” coincidence that President Trump started using the term “paper tiger” to describe Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine after he completed filming his movie: “It’s very weird because I wrote and made [‘Paper Tiger’] before he ever started using that term. It had nothing to do with him…. It’s sort of like half frightening, weirdly flattering.” When asked if Trump himself is a paper tiger, Gray replied: “No comment.”

Since he was 16, Christopher Nolan has been dreaming of a way to shoot an entire film on IMAX, and with “The Odyssey,” he’s finally done it. The Oscar-winning director told Gayle King about the challenges of shooting across six countries and on a boat in open waters — and why he still feels nervous before debuting his films in theaters: “The movie’s really not done until the audience kind of tells me what it is.”

Lee Hyun-jun who has worked extensively with HYBE and has been a key performance director for BTS has mentioned jimin as the most hardworking artist 🥹 👩🏻: Who is the most hard-working K-pop artist you have ever met? 🗣️: This is really my personal opinion because I love every artist... (laughs) ...but I think it’s Jimin. 🗣️: Because he asked me the most questions, and for each and every stage, he tries to make a lot of new attempts. So, I would cautiously say that Jimin comes to my mind.

Tom Holland shares a hilarious story about getting revenge on his brother Harry during the filming of Spider-Man: No Way Home. "I was upside down all day for 11 hours... it was brutal. I was complaining, and my brother Harry is like, 'Mate, you're Spider-Man, suck it up and get on with it, you'll be fine.'" "The director tells me they need a young person to play a burglar that Spider-Man catches... I'm like, bollocks to Harry, he's doing it." "I go up to the stunt coordinator and I'm like, 'Please, just whatever you do with the stunt, make it so that he's upside down.'" "We're driving home that day and he's like, 'Mate, you can complain as much as you want, that was brutal.'" "The icing on the cake, we saw the film the other day... and they've cut the scene. It's not in the movie."
