The gaps between different socio economic groups have widened. AI and robotics will make it even worse. The great divide will start slow, and then come all at once. While the west is waking up to AI and automation now. The east has utilized AI and mass surveillance and a hyper connected and digital society for more than a decade. Watching this video is like watching grunt neanderthals combating homo sapiens. They come out strong at first but lose in the end. Imagine the riots when job after job after job vanish. Imagine the millions of truck drivers, cab drivers, delivery drivers etc all going out of jobs in the very foreseeable future. People are not happy, and trust in government is at an all time low.
