Permanent suspension would be better.

The player is 18 or 20. The ump is a grown man and must be held to a higher standard. This doesn’t teach the player a positive lesson about respect for authority. It teaches him some people in authority are petty and vindictive and do not deserve respect.

Never show an Umpire up by jumping up and down and hollering shaking your head Never make it personal as an Umpire. If the Ump had a problem with getting shown up then call time out and warn the kid or toss him. He made it personal and deserves the suspension
