I finally caved to the hype. Here's my attempt at #vibecoding with *zero* manual coding. I gave myself 30 minutes to build a 3D RPG with #threejs using Cursor + Claude 3.7-sonnet. I'm honestly impressed with what it was able to generate: - Infinite terrain generation/chunking - Trees, rocks and bushes - NPC manager - Skeletons and goblins - Health bars - Combat mechanics (this is where it broke down) It only ended up failing because Cursor got confused about which files to update and I ran out of time. The code it was generating still looked solid, so I'm guessing I was hitting the limits of the context window.

No Three.js. No fake web-based depth-of-field or focal-length emulation. Customize in web, render in Blender. While everyone is vibe-coding apps for flat pattern generators, or at most Three.js-based 3D scenes, we’re already one step ahead. We built an app that lets you use a web UI to control an actual Blender 3D render. Eevee engine is used for streaming quick previews back into the app, while Cycles renders the final image for better material quality and lighting. So simple to use that you can even give it to your client. Of course, built with Toolcraft.

No Three.js. No fake web-based depth-of-field or focal-length emulation. Customize in web, render in Blender. While everyone is vibe-coding apps for flat pattern generators, or at most Three.js-based 3D scenes, we’re already one step ahead. We built an app that lets you use a web UI to control an actual Blender 3D render. Valora’s next patch is big, so we’ll break it down part by part. This first post is focused on progression and combat. Level cap is moving from 40 to 100, with a new XP curve made for a much longer grind. Combat is also getting deeper. 4 new spells have been added, bringing the total to 7: • Blink (lvl 40): teleport with cooldown • Frostbite (lvl 60): damage + MP removal • Blastwave (lvl 80): AoE damage • Cataclysm (lvl 100): heavy damage + AP removal Spell damage is no longer fixed. Spells now roll between a min and max value, adding a real chance factor to PvM and PvP. Spells can also be upgraded up to rank 5 using spell points earned while leveling, but players won’t be able to max everything. Different choices, different builds. This is only one part of the patch. Next posts will focus on the dungeon, new mobs, boss fight, drops, new high-level items, gear sets, bug fixes, and item stat changes. The dungeon boss will also drop new items, including the second Valdoria relic out of the 6 total relics. Full technical details will be added to the wiki when the patch is deployed.

Spent just 2 days vibe coding and already have a playable kart racing prototype. AI has reached a point where even building 3D games feels fast and fluid. I used Cursor (Opus 4.7) with Three.js plus CC-licensed assets. The plan is clear. This will go live on Karts․com as a real-time multiplayer racing game. Multiple tracks, different characters, and constant expansion. The first track is inspired by Santa Monica Pier. Next step is more advanced tracks, boosts, slopes, and deeper mechanics. Building a game and watching your ideas come to life piece by piece is insanely fun. #GameDev #DomainDrivenDevelopment

Turns out teaching the AI Coding Agents what's your preferred way of implementation(a.k.a Claude Skills) gives much better results. 😇 Took all the guidelines from my "Spring Application Architecture Design Patterns" samples and created file and asked Claude to generate a new application. Claude followed most of those patterns as expected 😍 Earlier I used to Vibe Code and then spend some time unvibing(cleaning up) the generated code. With these Skills given to Claude, now I no need to spend too much time for cleaning up the code. 🚀

chrome extensions are just perfect for vibe coders to use ai to build utility apps (and saas too) - cursor is very good at building them (gemini & claude) - super easy to test them locally - built in distribution via the chrome web store - so many old manifest 2 extensions you can rebuild - easy to find contact info to acquire competitors i built this tool in one shot to automatically decline connection requests (with or without a message) now I'm thinking it could be part of a much larger helper tool to write posts, find content ideas, run better giveaways, create carousels etc sometimes vibe coding to scratch your own itch can give you plenty of ideas for your next biz (even added obfuscation so i could do the demo vid!)
