We came across a really interesting tool that fixes a pretty common problem inside AI video workflows: extending AI cinematic scenes with seamless continuity. Using Omni models, you can take the last frame from an existing video clip and prompt something like: “show me what happens next in the... video, use the last frame as the start frame” and it actually creates a second clip with surprisingly good continuity from the original shot. But you know how when you try stitching two clips together in Premiere Pro, you can usually spot the exact transition point? The exposure shifts slightly, the lighting bounces, or something just feels off enough that you can tell the clips don’t fully belong together. So Runway Aleph 2.0 just dropped, and it introduces a pretty interesting workflow for AI video footage editing. Rather than repeatedly prompting a video model and hoping it makes the change you want, you can edit a specific frame first, then use that frame to guide the video generation. For this test, I take an existing footage inside Runway: • Picked a frame from the original video • Used Nano Banana Pro to add a new effect/object • Brought that frame into Aleph 2.0 to generate the updated video It feels like a more controllable and potentially cheaper way to make targeted edits to existing footage than current AI video omni models available like Seedance and Gemini.

I've been experimenting with Seedance 2.0 to create seamless extensions. I created this sequence called UBUMBE FOREST. Seamless extensions can actually be quite tricky to do and requires some precise magic with editing to connect them. There is no shortcut here, you must experiment until you find the sweet spot to make the transition seamless. Ubumbe Forest - During a routine foraging trip deep in the Ubumbe forest in Tanzania, a father guides his daughter off the beaten path. Here, hidden from the rest of their tribe, she steps into a breathtaking new world and comes face-to-face with insects and creatures she has never seen before, even encountering a rare Peafox. 🟢Extending a scene however is fairly simple: - Generate your first sequence. - Upload that video as an Omni reference. - Type this at the start of the prompt "Naturally continue the movement and momentum from the previous clip. Keep the exact same art style, lighting, character appearance, and physics." and then explain what happens next in this sequence. - Congrats, you now have a scene extension that naturally flows from where the last video ended. However this is only the start of the puzzle, you need to join these clips so they're seamless. Seedance 2.0 is able to match the pacing, remember the characters and even their voices using this technique. The hard part is the extension but check my second post to see how I'm doing it in Capcut.

Here's how to do a bit of VFX work using Seedance 2: If you generate with Seedance 2 you often get a great shot but unfortunately with one or more minor artefacts. Instead of discarding the generation, you can actually edit the video using Seedance 2. In my case it i had to remove a character and I did this using simply as the prompt and using the original video as reference: "Remove boy from video". I then regenerated the missing detail (the boy) using an isolated version of the boy that I removed. And then animated using Seedance 2: "the boy runs sideways and stops. white background. he stays in the center of the screen." In the tutorial below, I'll show how I got rid of an artefact in a shot I liked, and used good old compositing to combine a two videos. As always I'll share the link to the Space below.

I asked Garry Tan how to use meta prompting to get better at AI: "My partners at YC Jared Friedman and Pete Koomen showed me how to do this. You can take almost anything that you do all the time and just drop it into a context window. And then say, “Here’s a bunch of inputs and outputs." And maybe you also add a bunch of notes. And then you tell it, “Write me a prompt that can act as an agent that takes this input and makes this output over here.” You can do this for almost any type of knowledge work. And you can even introspect. "What are things you notice that I did to convert this from the input to the output?”. And then you can just start using the prompt. Initially, it’s going to suck. Because it’s just not that smart yet. But what’s funny is now, I also use it to Iterate my writing. You can be very direct, "I would never say that", "Don’t say it like this", or "Oh, you used the long word there, use the short word". Just speak to it conversationally. And then when you're happy with the output, you can use that new output to make a new prompt. "Based on this conversation, give me a better initial prompt that incorporates all the things we talked about." And you can do this with literally everything. And in theory, there’s so much it applies to that people do day-to-day. You could use it for tweets. You could use it for editing podcasts. You can use it for pretty much everything. I have a folder of prompts that I use all the time. My YouTube prompt is on v27 or something. I'll go through this process with all the different max models. I'll use GPT 5.2 Pro. I’ll use Grok. I'll use Claude. Then, I’ll take all the outputs from all the models and put them into Claude and say "Here’s my prompt, here’s the output from four LLMs, including yourself. Rate each response and tell me what the pros and cons of each approach are." And I usually say "give it to me in numbered form". And then you can agree with one, disagree with two, tell it three is this or that. And then after that, you say given all of this, synthesize it."

You can actually go back and refine specific scenes, adjust performance and composition, without regenerating the whole thing. Characters stay consistent across shots. It maintains narrative continuity the way you'd expect from a real production pipeline. This is the first AI video tool that feels like it was built for video storytelling, not just clip generation. Worth trying if you're building anything with narrative video.

OK SO FINALLY I have a means to show you what I have been saying for a while.......Watch this clip, share it, so people understand what we are saying here!!! In this Clip, JLR© is having a discussion with Watching the World , and we get to see that front door lock!! Here is what I have been saying.....The Front door is a material called EXPANDED METAL, YOU CAN SEE THROUGH IT. The Door IS a Security Door, that you would have to cut through with two locks. A Lock that can be unlocked via a key on the handle, and a DEADbolt lock that would be locked on the inside of the door. This PREVENTS someone from being able to attack you when you OPEN the HOUSE door that is inside it, and behind this screen door. That door only opens when that deadbolt is unlocked from inside! ALso notice we see NO damage to the door or frame in this video!!

✨ Made a new mini feature on Photo AI: [ Grab from 3d model ] So the problem is we're at that stage in time (typical for AI) where image-to-3d models are not good enough but are fun to play with, but we know they'll be good enough in 1-2 years With [ Make 3d model ] you already can turn any Photo AI pic into a 3d model but it still looks hyper clunky and deformed, but it works! One cool idea I had to make that more useful and made now: Let people make a 3d model then change the view of the it with the 3d viewer, then press [ o ] and it grabs a frame of the 3d That image you can then [ Remix ] (img2img), and it becomes a real photo again and that in turn you can then turn into a video again with [ Make video ] So that essentially gives you a fully freeform camera position control to take photos with One thing I need to fix is the background/skybox, I kinda need to take the original photo and remove the person and just get the background for the 3d model viewer, in this case it should be white, but it's a start!
